I read the whole series of these and absolutely loved it. They had feeliong every emotion going. I read all 5 and needed surgically removing from my couch. I laughed, cried, and got angry with and at Tess. Linked to the forged, merged and stained books, I could read these over and over

5.0 out of 5 stars Oh Lucas get your head out of your butt 27 Sept. 2013
By andrewsheath - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
I had to mentally brace myself for this bookie because the first one hit me HARD, and it wasn't just the cliffhanger. As we all know Lucas and Tessa's relationship was kinda non-existent by the end of book 1 now it's kind of existent and well not going the way either of them planned, "nope, look last night was fun, I know you're leaving and I know you're going to have a baby, but for just a few minutes," she stopped took a deep breath and swallowed, "I forgot, so my mistake, I'm sorry. I'm not mad and I hope you can forgive." You know Tessa we're seeing a new side of her it's kind of like roles are reversed and it's Lucas's turn to look after and be there as a support person, "that's nice Tessa but what s*** did you do? Did you drink, do pills, or smoke something?" Lucas demanded." Lucas he can be sweet, and just lately he's getting on my nerves it's like the pot calling the kettle black, "Tessa you want to tell him the stuff I'm going through?" Lucas snapped. "How about we tell Ben here what you're actually like?" Then he got back in my good graces, how did he manage that by well not making a big deal over something when mother nature hits Tessa, "Lucas stood and look at all the different types of pads, "Now what the hell do you need wings for and why not these?" he asked picking up a box of tampons." When they're together I love their playfulness, "ok my bad," he put his hand on her a**, "This will look fine in uniform," he rubbed his hand down her butt and grabbed it." I mean Tessa she grows balls in this book and speaks her mind, I love seeing her grow, "you complained, and you got pi**ed at how I sucked your di**? Yes, I'm pi**d that on'es going to be a little hard to get out of my head." This cliffhanger wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be it was something to work with so I was pleased, well still upset that there was a cliffhanger but pleased with the cliffhanger, if that makes any sense at all.

5.0 out of 5 stars Emotional Roller Coaster Ride 27 Sept. 2013
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
Reading this book wore me out...My emotions were all over the place. I finished book one pi$$ed at Lucas and thinking that Tessa needed a reality check. There were times in this book that Tessa and Lucas both needed to do a lot of growing up, but Lucas began growing on me, until he pi$$ed me off again! Loved the emergence of Ryan- Lucas really needs to learn A LOT from him. Have to say it- it's time for Tessa to move on, but I doubt she will. I think she needs to give Ben a real chance, but I don't want Ben to get hurt, and she will eventually hurt him. Lucas deserves the hell he is in at the end of this book- he just doesn't seem to ever learn from his mistakes. His latest f***up is inexcusable, yet he seems to think that he can explain it away somehow. And Tessa needs to stop protecting him from his bad behavior...she hid his actions on New Year's Eve from everyone and now she is hiding his latest actions. Why protect him so Alex doesn't get mad at him? Alex should be mad at him. He deserves it. It's all just so frustrating and I'm sure that Sad Love will be just as difficult to read as this was...

1.0 out of 5 stars Not much to say 27 Mar. 2014
By Never ending love of words - Published on Amazon.com

Slightly better than the blue love. The story line is good. Just the writing of it doesn't catch my interest. Get annoyed of how they talk about them selves. May try the next one later. Need a brake from the first two.

4.0 out of 5 stars Can you tell your heart to stop loving someone? 24 May 2013
By Gloria Herrera - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Even if your head is telling you this love is not good for you and you are heading for a train wreck? Tessa's impact on the people around her is a very positive one. She is a good person and unfortunately, people can take advantage of that. One in particular is Lucas. I could not put this book down. Although I felt like strangling Lucas and hitting Tessa in the head trying to get her to see what was happening.
5.0 out of 5 stars Heart Achingly Good 4 Oct. 2013
By AR Book Reviews - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
This one tore my heart out several times and left me rooting for Tessa and Lucas. What can I say? Lucas Links can be a real douche bag at times. Regardless of how many times he messes up, I found myself wanting Tessa to forgive him. Not too mention the heartache and pain that they all go through as friends in this one. At times I wanted to punch both Lucas and Tessa. It's almost as if she was waiting for him to screw up so she could run away but then I had to remember that they are young and are learning what love is about. Something I think we can all relate to from our personal experiences. There is something about that first love that always keeps us coming back for more no matter how hurt we get and that's exactly how I see it with Lucas and Tessa. I love them dearly and can't wait to read more of their story in the upcoming books.
