Absolutely brilliant. Exceptional second book. I liked the way both books were interwoven. I did get frustrated with Remy, although I could understand her reasons didn't understand why she held the truth back for so long. I still enjoyed the book and the writing style. Can't wait for the next book and definitely recommend you buy this book

The first book in this series was brilliant, this one was even better. Mathias is a great dark and brooding character until the secrets of his past are revealed. I couldn't put the book down, I love this series and can't wait to see what happens next.

This book was had everything that the first book was missing- in a good way. The chemistry was palpable, they were flawed but their love and strength of character was strong.
And there was the key- tension until the end.

Really well done!

Never Too Far follows the lives of Mathias and Remy. We meet Mathias in books 1, and he is the moody, broody bad boy of the group Willow Creek. Mathias is a man of few words and his past really seems to shadow his future, he doesn’t trust easy and when he lets a person in they are there for life……except for the one that got away. Remy is the oddball, rebellious, doesn’t conform to the norm girl that he let in. But at 16 years old it wasn’t meant to be, decisions were made, harsh words were exchanged and the future as they knew it would never be the same.

Remy is back, back to where her heart was shattered and back to where the person who broke it happens to be, Remy has come back to look after her grandmother. She doesn’t want to be there, she would rather be anywhere but there. For Remy being near Mathias and all the memories from the past only bring her heartbreak and pain. It brings all the feelings and emotions that she tried to keep locked away straight to the front and the person responsible for the pain just won’t leave her alone. “He told me he loved me once. But if you love someone you don’t destroy them.”

When Mathias see’s Remy again after 7 years he doesn’t know what he feels, he hurts, he doesn’t want to feel the way he does. But his past has decided on the route that his life is supposed to go, or at least that’s what he thinks. Mathias has a front, but he lets his guars down for Remy. Remy on the other hand wants him to feel the pain she does every day, she wants him to hurt like she did and still does. Remy wants revenge……

With Remy after revenge and Mathias trying to close himself back off, who will win? Or will the game change?

Never to late is book 2 in the Willow Creek series.
We got to meet Mathias, the lead singer of Willow Creek and twin of Maddox in book 1 so we knew a bit about him. From the information we had of Mathias in book 1 I knew this book was going to be a completely different story to Last to Know. Never to Late was about second chance love and correcting your pasts mistakes.
Mathias had loved and lost at a young age. He is used to getting everything he wants, but the one thing he wants the most he can't have.
Remy Parker was Mathias childhood friend that grew into more. When she moved away Mathias turned to booze and other women to block out the pain and in the process broke the only girl he ever loved.
When Remy reappears Mathias lashes out. He holds a lot of anger and resent towards her, however she feels the same about him. They both are very angry and there is so much angst and raw energy between them both the pages were on fire. The author wrote the story with so much power between the 2 characters that you'd not no what would happen one page to the next.
There journey throughout the story was very messy to say the least. It was passionate, frustrating, raw, impulsive and electric. Both characters are very stubborn and I liked reading about who'd give in first and how their journey would finally work out. Both characters were great to read about as they were so angry and their anger fueled the story, but ultimately they still loved each other and we're both hurting but didn't want to admit it or deal with it all once they had faced up to everything.
I could understand each character's POV about the situation they were in now and what happened in the past. Both needed to take responsibility for their part in it and move forward.

This was a fantastic book, I simply loved it.
It absorbed me and kept me captive within its pages as I journeyed along with what can also be described as some completely glorious charaters.
The story had it all but initially I found myself aghast at the secrets that were being shielded between the two main characters. I understood her reticence to tell him what she held inside but I have to say that its undercurrent through the plot was simply worked to perfection.
The story had more twists and turns that you could shake a stick at but I have to say the author to it to the millionth degree – and damn was she good!
Remy hide, it is what she did best – the real woman was buried beneath the face she showed to the world each day but she was as tough as old boots to all those who thought they knew her. I liked her she gave what she had to, to a situation but she never really gave all of her and that frustrated me. I wanted her to let the world see it was ok to not be ok. She broke my heart when I found out what she had been through, better than her would have crumbled at the loss.
Mathias was a self-righteous ass, hot as hades but an ass all the same. Arrogance is never an attractive feature but if you are blessed with what Mathias brought to mankind then maybe you can be forgiven – a little bit. He was in the public eye in the most spectacular of ways, being in popular band but despite or perhaps because of his flaws he was basically a good guy. I didn’t expect to like him and sometimes I wanted to slap him but overall he was a great read.
The book had it all and I am glad that I gave myself the opportunity to read what one of my favourite books is so far this year.
