This book may be short (only 38 pages) but there is as much heart in those 38 pages as you would typically find in a much lengthier book in this category. Tyna really seems to see behind the physical exterior of people and illuminate instead how the soul inside feels. I was particularly moved by her poem "Silent Words" about a man with Alzheimer's as it also conveys very well the isolated feeling of someone who has struggled for years with depression. To be understood is a great gift indeed. I highly recommend this book.

A thought-provoking and highly enjoyable selection of poems, each one of which has an underlying spirituality to it. Tyna is a regular at our spiritualist centre and we've been fortunate enough to enjoy listening to her reading her work on a regular basis, always a meaningful and moving part of the service. Her first published collection is highly recommended to spiritualists, care workers, spiritual seekers and anyone else who loves poetry which celebrates the human soul.
