Ok so not as good as the first one but if you want a fight packed film, fairly good plot and plenty of gorgeous girls then get this film. I only paid £8 for it but would say its not worth over a tenner. Kept me entertained all the way through and Michael Jai White has some kick ass moves.

Enjoy

Having starred in some of the best old-school action movies of the past decade (Blood and Bone, Undisputed 2 & 3), the talented Michael Jai White directed the DTV sequel to the Hollywood movie Never Back Down. Production values are very good for a DTV movie and the fight choreography is stepped up to a higher level as fans of MJW would expect. Good entertainment for martial arts action fans.

This isn't an altogether bad film and it is worth a light watch... but i really felt let down by how corny some parts of the film are... I did think it was good how they changed the story lay out abit from the normal "meat head" plot of every other American teen action film like "fast and furious" and "never back down one" etc; where the story is always exactly the same but just a different setting or interest. I.e new boy in town meets the idiot bad kid who has a hot girlfriend but treats her bad and he has to win her by being the best at whatever..... the story is a little bit more divers but is still really just as stereotyping but in a different way. As for the martial arts in the film; it was actually pretty good and abit more realistic for a change. Don't get me wrong its still ridiculous but at least the moves they are doing actually exist and work. I hope this helps, its not a great film in my opinion but i think it is still worth a watch for abit of light hearted fun if you like fight films or martial arts.
