OK - what just happened here. A simple enough idea for a story that had a massive impact on me. I loved it, loved all the characters, OK maybe Liam a tinsy bit more than Wulfric and Katya but this was thought out so well, written so well and toyed with your mind and was frustrating as hell but was powerful indeed.
Katya - I loved this lady. Strong but lacking confidence with the opposite sex, is a master baker and designs wedding cakes for a living and is really good at the job she trained to do and in great demand. Bought up in a loving family - if not a little conservative, a good girl.
Tori - Katya's room mate and best friend decide's one evening to sent up a profile on Katya on a dating website - but raunch it up a bit first, give her friend the edge, make her sound sexy.
Liam see's the website and recognises her as his neighbour, and he's so tempted to take her out of her comfort zone, to teach her new tricks and decides to do just that. Then she meets an old friend that used to live next door to her when she was growing up - Wolfric ( I hate that name) and before you know it she is juggling two men, both so different, both demanding different things from her but she takes it all and more. Once a vanilla sort of girl, Katya is upping the stakes and even suprising herself and the men who take from her.
Of course in the background there is something bubbling and the rippling effects are being felt, nothing good can come of this - right ?
This book keeps you guessing right until the end, and lets just say there HAS to be more, I WANT more. I NEED to know what is going to happen next. A fabulous book that had me glued to the pages right until that very last word, I wanted to be Katya and let loose, I wanted those two men the way she did, and I can't wait for the next book to find out where these characters go next - awesome !!!!!!!

I'll be honest I found it difficult to get into this book, it was the book more me, but the more I read the more I loved it. I was intrigued and was well and truly blown away with the unexpectedness.

Katya and her friend set up a profile on a dating site and maybe embellished on a few facts and made Katya more of vixen instead the safe school teacher type. What she didn't expect was Liam her neighbour to blow her inhibitions apart and make her see herself in a new light.

Then she meets Wulf unexpectedly, her childhood neighbour and crush, she hasn't seen him in years. Has his return come at the right time?

Who will Katya choose?

The transformation in Kayta is such that she becomes a shadow of her formal self,Liam is the cheeky chap that you immediately root for, then again there is the mercurial Wulf that leaves you thinking who would you choose, everyone loves the broken mysterious type and Kayta is no different.

Until that end wow, it just hits you full force and leaves you speechless and questioning, what now?.

Even though I had initial wariness this book grabbed me, and didn't let go, I love that it blows all my expectations. And I can't wait to see what happens next.

I was completely disconnected from this book. I'm not sure I can pinpoint why I was unable to engage other than disliking all the characters but it wasn't for me. 2.5 stars

My first book by this author and while I am not exactly sure what I expected the story to be, what I am sure of is that this was not it.
What you get from this story will in my opinion depend not only on who you are but also whether or not the situations that are brought up in the story are going to push buttons that for some may be leaning a little on the uncomfortable side.
Katya is ready to embrace a change, to find the woman that she really wants to be and to let that inhibited side of herself that she has kept so safely locked away out to play …finally!
So, a bit like waiting for a bus, nothing or nobody pushing those particular buttons in your life for and then two turn up at once, Katya goes from being the shrinking violet, the consummate wall flower to having the undivided attention of two men, at the same time…although not “at the same time” if you get my drift.
There is no cheating in this book the situation is very clearly laid out from the beginning but that didn’t mean that I actually liked the fact that she was willing to hop from one to another so to speak. I’m not a fan of situations where I can tell almost straight off the bat that someone is going to get burned because it means that I spend much of the book waiting for the penny to drop and I am often left with a sinking feeling in my gut that it is going to be the guy that I’m rooting for that is going to get the rough end of the stick, but was I right in this case?
I liked the authors style, the characters were well written and the connections were handled well, I liked that there was a little sneaky mystery that bubbled along just under the main storyline and I think this added a much needed distraction.
Overall, I like the story but I just don’t think I liked Katya very much.

So, as is blatantly obvious from the title, this book is about neighbors, got it, it’s about neighbors with added benefits, got it, it’s about neighbors we would all love in our lives (if only in our dreams), got it, so, why am I left wondering what on earth I have just read and loved.

Right from the start we’re slapped in the face with a healthy dose of sexy neighbor, aka Liam Eden-fluffy-pants (yes, I had the same problem as poor Katya) as he finds himself looking at her dating profile which has been heavily kinked-up thanks to Katya’s roommate. With the personality of a goody two-shoes and the image of a librarian, Katya is anything but the sexy, confident and kinky profile that has been created for her but that’s exactly what attracts Liam to her.

Faced with Liam’s good looks and fun-loving personality, Katya decides to throw caution to the wind and sets off to explore her inner naughtiness. It helps that Liam owns a sex club and, as you can guess, things get pretty heated right from the outset. Normally, Katya has a three date rule before even offering up a kiss, but with Liam all bets are off as she quickly finds herself in-public-flagrante! Despite her initial reservations, Katya throws herself into her “date” with Liam and it's not until the next day that she wonders just what she let herself in for.

Liam is the epitome of a dream man and yet, Katya looks to him only for friendship and their occasional sexual encounters (I know, she must be crazy). The man who holds her heart comes along immediately after her initial liaison with Liam and that man is Wulfric Stone, the neighbor that she grew up watching through her bedroom window and secretly crushed on throughout her teenage years.
