love this Author and the second book from her made me pick up the first one again! Needle in a haystack gives you more of an insight into the main characters life and how hard she struggled in her younger years to come to terms with life as not only a young person but as a disabled young person who realises she is a lesbian! amazingly written and easy to read and I felt myself in the story the whole way through. I could see bits of my own childhood and struggles I had too. I really liked the way it was written in a diary form as it was more personal that way and the font used is quirky and fun too. all round great read and just like the first book I didn't want it to end... hope there's more about the life of this young girl to come soon!!!!! x
