Suki Pryce has done a fantastic job giving us the lessons (from a huge array of sources) that can teach us how to create a "partnership" society (versus continuing on our "dominator" path).
I've read most of the books she cites, and I've never seen any synthesis of these in a single book before (she hasn't either, as she remarks in the intro).
I highly recommend this book.
I came to this book searching for just what this turned out to be after reading Dmitry Orlov's "The Five Stages Of Collapse" and I think readers of that book would find much value in this. Like E.M. Schumacher's "Small Is Beautiful" or John Michael Greer's "Wealth Of Nature" Suki Pryce offers a vision of a different way, and a different set of values entirely.
I have given copies to many people and count it among the most important books I have ever read.
