Doesn't stand up well falls over kind of defeats the object of why I bought this. It was also part of a birthday surprise and unfortunately was delivered when who the gift was for was in and it was written on the front what was inside so not very discrete which also could have some sercurity issues if in the wrong hands ! But it's over all decent quality for the price appearance wise just a few aspects that let it down hence the 2 star rating ! More cons then pros! May even end up buying else where 🤔

I bought this for my wife as a Christmas stocking filler to use with her Samsung Galaxy 3. It didnt arrive in time, lost by Royal Mail reportedly but that's another story. Both of us are at the age where neither gets on well with touchscreen keyboards for anything more typing than the very briefest of emails. She loves it. I didn't expect much for the 17 quid but I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. It has only been used for a few emails but so far everything's fine. My first reaction when the replacement arrived was that it seemed very light and therefore would be flimsy, yet it seems well made, the keys are big and have a solid sort of feel to them, something that is a little difficult to define but they do not seem as though they will pop off at nothing as those on some of the cheaper laptops do. It is a doddle to set up despite the pidgin English instrucions, taking only a couple of minutes to complete.
A couple of quirks: (i) the position of the ampersand (@) and quotation mark (") symbol keys are incorrectly marked in that @ is shown on the 2 button and " on the apostrophe (') key. So you either need to just remember that or get busy with correction fluid & indelible pen. I believe this feature is fairly common with other makes of bluetooth keyboards for some unfathomable reason. (ii) there is no £ key only a $, the second function key on the top row brings up the touchscreen keyboard so that can be used to enter £s or any other symbol.
Bear in mind there is no laptap style touch pad to navigate around the screen with so it is necessary to either use the touchscreen or navigate around using the up & down, left & right button which works OK. I imagine it would be possible to connect a bluetooth mouse as well if desired however we have not tried nor found necessary.

All in all, very pleased with this gadget particularly at the price and for occasional use. I'm not sure how it would be for heavy use but surely any one typing regularly for long periods wouldn't be using a tablet?

The keyboard was shipped rapidly and we'll packaged. Documentation is very limited, but set up was simple and the keyboard was detected straight away. The keys are responsive with good travel despite the shallow depth, and good spacing in what is a small keyboard means mistyping isn't a problem.

The downsides?

Build... It's made from a metal look plastic that is pretty cheap and gives a 'clackety' sound to the keyboard in use. I have a £6 Bluetooth keyboard that is better quality material than this.

Size... You order the keyboard to fit an android device but the size actually is designed for an iPad mini, meaning that there is not a neat marry up with the edges of the tablet.

Angle... When it is open it nicely raises the rear of the keyboard to give a great typing angle. However the hinge doesn't go quite far enough back for real comfortable viewing when close enough on the table for typing. Not bad, but a simple thing that should have been fixed in the design.

Function keys... No matter what I do I can't get response out of the blue functions added to the keyboard on my tablet... Not a big deal but a pity.

Overall... I'd be really pleased with it had it been cheaper, but disappointed with it for the price, even though cheaper than many competitors. Still, it works well and having it attached laptop style to the tablet is hugely convenient. Very happy to keep it, but just wish it had been that bit better.

The keyboard came quicker than advised which was great.

The keyboard itself is great. It's metal and plastic and feels very substantial. The keys are sunken so they don't get squashed by the tablet if you want to close it up like a laptop. It feels like you have a little notebook pc and stands well on any surface when typing.
It paired up immediately and easily with my Samsung tablet and stays paired even if you put your tablet to sleep for ages. So there is no messing around each time you want to use it. The keys are highly responsive too for me with no lag at all and it feels nice to type with.

While it does fit a small tablet (I'm using a galaxy tab 3 7") it is slightly larger in size and though it said it was for a galaxy tab when ordered it clearly isn't designed for it specifically. The main problem is the actual fitting of the keyboard to the tablet. To be fair it is a decent and strong hinge, the tablet slots in but the two grips are far too tight for the galaxy tab 3. There is no adjustment it's just very tight and so I am hoping they will give a little with use but not so far. it is a bit of challenge to get the tablet in without damaging it and the clips have made mincemeat of my screen protector so far but luckily not scratched the tablet as they are cushioned with felt too. It's not a big deal and I've not returned the item because of this because it is a great little keyboard but it just takes a minute or two to get it attached properly and safely.

You can also select from three options using the function key. IOS, Windows or Android. After selecting Android all the function buttons work perfectly. Buttons for Home, sleep, back, volume, Web search etc are a nice little touch.

Overall it's a cracking keyboard for the price. It's a tight fit on the Samsung tab 3 but at least the tablet won't fall out I guess.
