As with other reviews this has no instructions. A quick look reveals a button to expand the arms out and some fold out feet (which with the advertised p1000 samsung galaxy tab can't fold out if you have the device in it!)
My reason for buying was to mount the tab as a landscape satnav on my centre console air vents (VW Polo). The vent mount fitted ok, but the stabiliser foot stuck out too far ans so had to be folded in place. This feels flimy for the fitting, HOWEVER I am unable to remove it to adjust the seating, it's there for life now! The back of the main gripper unit has a rotating bezzle with a locking switch so that you can change the viewing angle (portrait/landscape).
It is worth noting that once the tablet is in the mount the padded grips are on the volume buttons. I couldn't see a way around this and so once mounted I have to check the satnav volume. Also it is just wide enough to slide the device in I then push the sides for one click to grip. You can still without effort pull the tablet out and when you do so the hard plastic on the holder looks bent & distorted I looks like it will snap soon (but I do know looks can be deceiving). I have found that if I load the gps software after mounting the tablet I'm unable to get a satilite lock, I have to load and lock before mounting.
Somehow, despite the flimsy look, the wobbly fitting to the vent and and flaccid grip to the unit. I have happily done a number of two hour journeys without significant wobble, with nothing falling out and the end result it I'm happy with it.
It could be packaged better, with instructions, look less flimsy and fit better. But it works and that is the most important thing.
