loved this book. i recently moved to the countryside after living in london my whole life. i have found that the way the author describes nature in these stories parallels the way i am experiencing the beautiful nature i am seeing around me now too. the stories are thought provoking and entertaining. highly recommended.

I really liked the stories from this book because they took me through different worlds, based on different rules and even though sometimes the action was somehow predictable, an unexpected twist changed everything leaving me thinking about the beginnings in a different light.
Whether you are a paranormal, sci-fi fan or not I recommend this collection of stories to anyone.
Cannot wait for Volume 2 :)

This is a collection of four short stories, the best I have read in some time. There is something of classic literature in them. I can picture this as an old book found in a cellar, with a leather bound and covered in dust. There is something magical about the writing and the characters, and the stories are highly original.

There is a but though... the book needs line by line edition. There are many typos and some grammatical errors. The stories are so good that I found myself overlooking them and kept reading. The formatting also needs help, to the point of having different font-face in different paragraphs.

Who is this book for? Those who love a good story.

Who is this book not for? Those who can't see beyond formal issues.

To the writer: you are very talented, and I loved the stories. if you ever decide to fix the book I will gladly change my review.
1.0 out of 5 stars Calling whom? 18 May 2014

Managed to get through first 16% and gave up. As far as I got, this is a story about a scientific exploration/expedition to the antarctic to research curious smoke+lights satellite photos. Chris, the leader, manages to buy a boat plus items too numerous to count or expensive to imagine with grant money! This by itself is pure fiction (no science). With frequent flashbacks to his own childhood and his fatherly interest in a couple of young scientists under his aegis, the story shambles on, aimlessly. First and foremost - terrible grammar, syntax, spelling, you name it. Very close to American English, but not quite there. I could forgive some of it if there was a real glimmer of interesting plot - but no such chance, at least to the place I managed to slug through. Very bad.

This book has 4 short stories that are very entertaining and will take you on a journey to fantasy land. The story takes unexpected turns so you are never sure what is going to happen on the next page turn. Highly recommend and I am sure anyone who enjoys the fantasy/science fiction genre will enjoy this book.
