G.J. Whitrow's second edition of his book "Natural Philosophy of Time" is cogent and well written. The various multitudes of "time" are covered, from historical to present to future, from "human" time to "biological" time and much more. Well worth reading.
An immensely useful book that may change the way you see your universe.

I read this book when it first came out and found it of immense value to me. I've used what I learned from it to good advantage in my work and in my life. I've lost my copy and so am reordering another. Much work has been done since then, you say? That work has this book as a foundation. This book helps you to think about philosophic issue of space and time from a solid foundation and prevodes a sense of the history of thought in this area..
