Let's face it. This was NEVER going to be a work of art. MEN IN WHITE (1998) is just a stupid but funny film for family audiences. And yet, I've read comments like that this film should be avoided like the plague or it stinks like a tons of bricks. I mean, come on! What where they excepting the film to be? The new CITIZEN KANE (1941)?!
The lives of two bumbling garbage men - Roy DuBro (Karim Prince) and Ed Klingbottom (Thomas F. Wilson) - are changed forever when they are captured by aliens. Back on Earth, Roy & Ed become top-secret agents as they attempt to foil an alien invasion which is being secretly controlled by a crazy scientist called Dr. Strangemiester (Wigard Boning).
MEN IN WHITE (obviously) spoofs films such as the original STAR WARS trilogy (1977-1983), INDEPENDENCE DAY (1996), DR. STRANGELOVE (1963), 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY (1968), DIRTY HARRY (1971), ROCKY (1976) and, of course, MEN IN BLACK (1997).
If you want a film to watch with the family and pass the time, then this film is for you. Just don't except to be a work of art!

I watched this video 5 years ago, and still I have memories of scenes from it. It is quite possibly, the funniest spoof you will ever, ever see. I can only remember good things here, this sits alongside the greats such as spaceballs

This has to be one of the best films that I have EVER seen!! This film is about two "Dustmen" who have been selected as the men in white, to protect the earth from an alien invasion of earth but to a funny and crazy typical national lampoon style twist!! The gags come thick and fast and this is a great family film and one that I will certainly add to my collection

When i was a child i rented this film from the video shop believing it to be a men in black sequel. I really was young. Imagine my absolute horror at watching the most appalling spoof film ever made. Far worse than any scary, epic, date etc. movie by a factor of 2 at least for all the reasons that those films are so awful.
It induces an urge to lash out in anger and depression at the state of society to produce a film like this.
I made it through to the end and even as a child i could tell what a horrible assault on the eyes and ears this film was. If this film should ever turn up to be sold on Amazon ever again or any other website, for the sake of all humanity somebody should purchase it for the sole purpose of its destruction.
And if you think i am overreacting to this film, i saw it once as a child 12 years ago and never again, yet i can still remember it. 'nuff said.

One of the worst films I've ever seen, actually probably THE worst. You'll only find it funny if you you are aged under five and have never seen a comedy film before. It's only redeeming feature is that it must have cost almost nothing to make, sparing cash for something better, ie anything. There aren't any funny jokes, and what there are are repeated twice, either to make sure you get them or more likely to pad the thing out even more cheaply. I hope I'm not making it sound interestingly bad, because it isn't. It's BAD bad.
