Made the Husband Very Happy
on 6 February 2010 - Published on Amazon.com
I bought this without really knowing just what it would be. The best way to describe it would be: A Hockey Fanatic's Dream. My husband's eyes were like saucers the first time he started looking through it. And now he keeps this by the couch when he's watching hockey games and likes to refer to it from time to time. He used to wonder where the analysts got all that data so quickly, but says now he knows. For any hockey fan who likes to know the stats in the game, you can't wrong with this

We keep this book handy all season...

We've bought these annually for a few years now. A great quick reference, for questions that come up while watching games or talking about hockey: "who was that guy traded for?" or "who were the first few picks in the 2005 draft?"

The Hockey Bible

This sits right in front of me, on the coffee table within reach while watching the NHL Center Ice package on DirecTv. You and your buddy start talking about a player, then you look him up...I get one every year. It's fun to leaf through it. I look forward to it's release every summer, and it's a must for any broadcaster who is going to talk about the sport.
