My daughter loves these books and reads all the time. Since picking up these books her vocabulary has improved significantly. Carolyn Keene is a master of introducing words that can be absorbed and become a part of a young child's vocabulary. She uses words with the same meaning giving the young reader a small education in every page. And, the stories are engaging, interesting and thought provoking. Highly recommend them!

The authority on Nancy Drew in our house says that she liked the entire book except when one of the characters died. Lots of personal tension for Nancy and her friends in this book, too. Worth reading, if you like Nancy Drew.
