Product Description

Product Description

The NSAuk Travel Centre/Travel Cot is a multi-award winning sleeping solution for babies on the move. It is designed to be as versatile and multi-functional as possible, and is very easy to use. Lightweight and portable the cot weighs in at less than 3.2kgs fully packed and is highly portable with its own carry bag. Ideal for hand luggage when flying in case of hold ups in airports (put tent pegs into cargohold luggage) and ideal for sleepovers, days on the beach or in the garden.
The Travel Cot pops up in seconds and can be taken down quickly. The self-inflating mattress slips into a zippered compartment under the base. The sleeping mat fits onto Velcro patches inside the cot for additional comfort. The windows on the sides are double layered – the insect mesh can be zipped down to keep out unwanted bugs and flies and the external window flaps can be zippered down too for a darker internal environment or to act as a sunshade if outside. The external window flaps can be rolled up and tied up to allow full ventilation and airflow and allows easy access for parents to reach in. Handy tent pegs are included in case of use on the beach or in the garden. Once positioned you only need to shut the relevant window flaps to keep out the moving rays from the sun.
The NSAuk branded Deluxe model is the only one on the market which has been specifically improved & modified in order to meet UK standards and approvals. It is suitable for children from 0-5 yrs, subject to the size and development of the child.
Advice & Care – the insect mesh is not UV Protective – only the external material; always stand clear of children when springing the cot open; keep the sides down when the child is asleep and never leave the child unattended; always insert the mattress into the zippered compartment under the base and do not place it inside the cot, and do not over-inflate as this may cause bubbling; only use the cot on a level floor and do not place on a bed or top of the stairs, etc; take down the cot carefully as per the instructions – it requires no force – if it is forced closed this will result in buckling the frame. The sleeping mat is machine washable. The cot and mattress should only be wiped clean and air dried.

This is a very useful piece of kit for many reasons but:
    1. Very light (2kg) and folds up small enough to fit under pushchair so can use anywhere.
    2. 'Pops' up in second, self - inflating matress needs a couple of breaths to top up but then ready.
    3. Matress zips in under the bottom of the cot, so no raised sides and risk of rolling and getting stuck against the sides.
    4. Took about 1 min to get down, and most of that was rolling air out of matress.Easy
    5. UV screens make it dark, so easier for little one to sleep.

We have used daily in lounge for naps, but also overnight and our daughter slept soundly. We are about to embark on a longhaul holiday and I think this will be ideal day and night

Excellent value and design for the price.

I bought it when I was looking for a travel cot but all the ones I could find were minimum 10 kg at which point, in my opinion, they cannot be described as 'travel' anymore. This tent weights 3 kg, fits easily into the bag / backpack, can be put up in seconds, taken down in minutes (although I must say the instructions included are pretty vague and the youtube video is a blessing). My 3 months old daughter had no problems with sleeping in the tent for a week we were away but I would recommend taking a sheet with you so that you are not woken up by the sound the sleeping mat makes when the baby is moving. Highly recommended if you want to go away but wouldn't like to carry heavy 'travel' cots

    Pros
A travel cot that you can actually carry
Comfortable for baby to sleep in (my 8 month old daughter slept through for the first time in her travel cot)
Easy to assemble and pack away
    Also sun shade etc.

    Cons
Sleeping mat fairly loosely attached to base and makes a slightly annoying rustling sound when baby moves in their sleep

I'm delighted with the NScessity UV Travel Centre. I recently took it on holidays with us and it was so light it did not limit our other luggage. It provided a safe environment throughout the holiday from the sun and bugs. I used the mattress on its own whilst inside for a safe area for my son to lie and kick, change his nappy, etc. Altogether a great buy.

We bought this for our first holiday with our 3 month old baby.... It was perfect! It pops up in seconds, is sturdy and the self inflating mattress is genius! Ella had her daytime naps in the garden in the shade and it was great having piece of mind that no bugs could get her AND she had added sun protection! This should last her right into toddlerhood... She loved it!

Good, lightweight, comfy and 6 month old baby slept well but the zip is really annoying. Having just settled her, trying to do up the zip quietly so as not to disturb her again was really hard, but it's not safe to leave it undone as she could easily roll out in her sleep
