This is an amazing book. It makes NLP easy to understand and even easier to use. I loved the exercises and skipped through this book really quickly as I just couldn't wait to get to each new section. There is so much in here to use, that I will be going back over the book and revisiting each chapter and making sure that I practice the exercises. This is a hands-on guide to using NLP not just understanding it but using it.
The book is well written in an easy to understand style and does not hide anything with over technical writing. It is a joy to read and to follow - well recommended.

I've always been interested in Neuro Linguist Programming and I've read a lot of manuals and books about NLP.
This is a very good book that explains in details what NLP is, why it's born, why people can use it and how it works in our brain.
The books is well structured in its chapters and the writing is clear and professional.
I'd recommend it especially to people who have recently been interested in NLP as this book is a super way to get introduced and start studying NLP in depth.

This is an excellent book, which covers all the NLP and Waking Hypnosis bases with clear, sequential instructions. There are some tried and tested techniques as well as some innovative new approaches, and from experience I know that this stuff works brilliantly when you apply it in the right system, which the author explains precisely and intelligently. An essential guide for both self-help enthusiasts as well as professional therapists and practitioners. Great stuff, well executed!

I believe that all "battles" are won in the mind first. I live by the philosophy that if your mind can conceive, and your heart can believe, then you can achieve (provided you are willing to work hard). That's me, neatly summed up. "Boost Your Mind Power" by Colin G. Smith caught my attention because of this. I found what I expected to find in this book, right from the very first page. It is full of useful information to help you achieve whatever goals you have set for yourself in life.

It delivers what the author has promised. What the author can NOT do, however, is take action for you. Ultimately, it is all up to you. Yes, Colin G. Smith is thorough. He covers an adequate number of topics to be helpful to a wide variety of people. But again, it is ultimately up to you, and not Colin G. Smith, to accomplish your goals. I recommend this book for people who are genuinely searching for ways to maximise their mind power. I sincerely believe such people will find it useful.

This is an easy to follow comprehensive guide that gives step-by-step programming techniques for improving self-esteem, health, and overcoming emotional problems. It explains setting goals and timelines to help you stay on a path to improving your life. I found envisioning pictures in my mind to accomplish some deserved personal changes a very effective tool. If there are areas in your life you want to improve, read this powerful NLP guide.

What an interesting, valuable book! Designed to help the reader lift himself up by his own bootstraps. I never knew there were so many concrete, practical exercises that can help to change one's attitudes, mindset and motivation.

For instance - Like most people, I'd heard that visualization is a powerful tool for accomplishing one's goals. But this book spells out exactly what aspects and exercises go into effective visualization and what questions you need to ask yourself when visualizing. Where are you in time and space and what information are all your senses feeding you in your vision/goal? "Boost Your Mind Power" teaches you how to figure these things out so that you will be able to recreate them at will.

This book needs to be studied and the lessons need to actually be followed and internalized. You can not reap this book's benefits merely from reading it, any more than you can build a strong athletic body simply by reading a book about exercise.

Learning how your own mind works is the first step toward learning how to gain control over it and its potent mind/body connection. This in turn is the first step toward a much richer, enjoyable life. I heartily recommend this book. But only if you are ready and willing to do the work.
