This adapter didn't work for me.
It seemed easy, just plugging in the the Logitec media keyboard to the adapter; but I learned that it must have direct computer access with no 'inbetweens' in order to work ... disappointed; so this isn't the adapter's fault!

I just got this adapter, connected my DELL AT102W keyboard (similar to IBM Model M) and finally - this adapter works. Especially the key [ \ ]. So I can finally type \\\\ without any issues. I hope it just lasts as long as the keyboard itself.

The keyboard input was frequently unresponsive and when it 'recovered' it was typing one letter continuously for all those times I actually typed while it was 'frozen'.
I later plugged in the same keyboard directly into a PS/2 port, and it worked without problems.
Therefore there was no issue with the keyboard itself, but with this adaptor.

so, as someone else in the reviews has said, it works fine with the dell AT102W, had three of them now (one broken, one sold and one current) works flawlessly, never missed a beat and it's always worked fine, the only gripe i have with it, literally the only gripe that can be had with it so far is just that it is a tad big so you if you have a usb port arrangement on your pc that's 2 usbs then you will be at a loss of one of the ports, in my case I am missing the one usb port that's directly underneath my ethernet port, and it does very nearly get in the way of that too.

Works with IBM Model M keyboard

Works (unlike many other such adapters) with my ancient but wonderful IBM Model M keyboard. I even have it plugged in via an unpowered USB hub. Negatives? The fat body tends to block adjacent USB slots - use it with a short extension lead to avoid this. For example: 0.1M USB 2.0 A Male to A Female Extension Lead - 10CM (BY CABLES 4 ALL)

Works very nicely - just plug the adapter in and use a PS/2 keyboard with an USB-capable computer. No configuration of any kind is required. Even the keyboard's multimedia keys are working flawlessly, which I did not expect from such a budget-priced product. The only downside is that the adapter is a bit broad and may block two USB-ports if these are positioned two close next to each other. All in all a very good buy.
