I really enjoyed this book, I collect retro games and will be looking out for a lot of the games mentioned in this book now. Has useful advice about NES care too, a few spelling mistakes but that's fine. Its a good book for game collectors and just people who love retro games.

This really is a fantastic resource for fledgling NES collectors like myself. It's packed with content ranging from game reviews to maintenance tips. In fact it's a must have volume whether you collect for the NES or whether you're just interested in retro gaming in general. Given the sheer amount of work and love that has clearly been poured into it, it's is an absolute steal at the asking price!

A great compendium of some of the best (and worst) NES games and everything in between. Great value and an ideal readfor those starting out in the world of retro.

Great read! Covers loads of aspects of the NES history with a good chunk of game reviews, was surprised at just how much was packed in for the price. The developer reviews although briefly mentioned really do question some of the industry greats of the time. Highly recommended you won't be disappointed.

An excellent book in all respects, the NES-Bit Compendium is the ultimate guide to the PAL Nintendo Entertainment System and its library. There are reviews of every single game, with screenshots, as well as interviews with developers, homebrew reviews, hardware guides and even movie reviews! If you are a fan of Nintendo then you really shouldn't turn this down. Especially at the price it's being offered at, rarely will you find something that is such good value on Amazon.

This isn't your typical retro gaming book. You know the type. You've got 10 minutes to spare on the toilet and you need something to read to help you forget the previous night's vindaloo. No. This is more. Much more.

After the first chapter, it was obvious that this is the kind of retro book that you could be proud of. It not only educates, it entertains. As every digital page was turned, your mind runs wild. What next? Super Mario Bros? The Legend of Zelda? The infamous Power Glove?

NES-Bit Compendium is one of those ultra-rare gaming books. You are so proud of it that you can even give it to your wife. That's right.
