As someone who has suffered from ME for 17 years, I was bowled over by this book of poetry. It made me cry, it made me laugh, and it made a lonely life less lonely. ME is a very lonely illness, you are cut off from the world, often even unable to have family and friends to visit as it's just too exhausting. There are so many who are sceptical about this illness, but who would choose a life like this? Ros's poems express perfectly what it is like to have ME in a simple, clear and very effective style. Ros has worked so hard to get this book into print (and kindle), I hope many people will buy a copy. As a percentage of the proceeds go to the charity Invest in ME, you will also be helping others. Bravo Ros xxx

Having already viewed the kindle version i had no hesitation in purchasing the paperback, my preferred way of reading, As someone who has suffered with M.E for 23yrs I can say that You will relate to Ros's words, not only because she writes wonderfully but because this lady also suffers with M.E and yet has used what little energy she has to create this work and inspire & remind those that are ill with any illness that with patience and peservering there is still lots in life to be achieved and is achievable as long as we dont give up.She is also donating a percentage of proceeds to the Invest In M.E charity so I hope she is supported in her efforts. Well Done Ros ;) xxx

This is a great example of how proactive people with ME can be. It's a book of poetry written by a woman who has suffered from ME for over 10 years. They're heartfelt, moving poems that many with this illness can relate to I'm sure. For eg the isolation, the misery of symptoms, the boredom, the despair at the disbelief of others...

There's a foreword with a brief description of the illness and also an introduction with a little about Ros herself. A percentage of the profits from the sale of each book go to the charity Invest in ME.

It's an encouraging book for sufferers of chronic illness and hopefully enlightenment for others.

This is an amazing book of poems on life with The debilitating illness M.E, it's even more amazing because the author has the condition herself and yet has selflessly used what little energy & brain power she has to create this collection and help raise awareness & charity funds. Anyone who lives with this condition will know what an extremely hard feat this would have been to achieve, & if you are lucky enough to live without this illness then hopefully this book will give you an insight into the life of someone who does, as it's in poem form, its a very easy read for all. ;) xxx

The author writes from the heart about all the negatives she has been encountering. I find it painful to read as a fellow sufferer I can empathize. No doubt many of us can. I hope it brings solace to those who may have felt they are suffering alone.

However I can also really see the resiliency in her shining through this work. To get it both written and then published takes much focus and energy. Much credit to her determination to get this done and shared with the public. This book is raising funds for Invest in ME as well. Wonderful!

I understand that the next book of poems she is working on is focusing on some of the less obvious positives that her resiliency is finding in her struggles with this dreadful illness.

This will be a real gift to us and will no doubt encourage us to refocus on what it possible when we are in what seems to be our darkest hour.

I have read some of this ladies poems and they come straight from the heart and represent many people feelings as well as her own. She has worked so hard considering she has limitations due to exhaustion and ill health due to suffering from ME/CFS herself. I would recommend this read to anyone who has this condition or is knows and cares for anyone suffering from the condition and it is much easier to read in paper back rather than kindle.
