My son really enjoyed reading this book. He said that it was full of humour and serious things as well. We have the whole series; he couldn't stop reading all of the books. Excellent value for money considering what enjoyment he got out of them.
Would highly recommend to anyone!

Dan Gutman has achieved that fantastically fun repetitive formula that kid will love reading again and again. Poor Mr. Granit is sick and needing to take a day off work. Never fear Miss. Kraft substitute teacher/newly graduated clown is here to save the day, and MAYBE just maybe get through page twenty-three in the students math book. If only eleven times eleven wasn't the diabolic number that kills them all!! Super funny, fun, fun book! Every elementary school library and classroom should have a series set. Guaranteed to make reluctant readers into excited readers.

My daughter is in 2nd grade and a voracious reader of all things she finds interesting. Dan Gutman's series are her go to books whenever she does a book report or wants to read for pleasure. The main kid characters who are every book are like friends she gets to visit whenever she wants a laugh. The crazy and wacky adults in the story always triggers a conversation whether it's to compare them to each other or to adults that she comes into contact with in her own life.

And there is always something learned when reading this series.

The book is funny and good. Miss Kaft is good at teaching because she combines learning with what kids like for example magic and clown tricks. I wish every teacher could be like that.

I liked a lot of parts in the book, what I did not like was when A.J. Almost got suspended. I think it was very funny when Mr.Klutz disappeared! It was also funny when Mr.Granite opened the window and climbed out of it! I like Alexia the most!
