This is a difficult album to listen to. Not least because when you slip it into your CD machine you will find it listed as one big track, not several smaller ones. Hmmmm. This means that you will have to keep your finger on the FF button until near the end to hear one of Deus finest moments. "Glovesong" This is an absolute corker of a track, and deserves to have a wider audience. This is the main reason for the record getting three stars, because, frankly the rest of the album is hard going.

This isn't and easy 'dip in, dip out' album, but if you like music that challenges and digs at you, check out this album!!! At times jarring, at times (arguably self indulgent), but filled with moments of beauty. Listen to it all the way through, go on the trip a few times, and it grows and grows. WELL worth the effort.

HASH(0x9f81eeb8) out of 5 stars Interesting collage for dEUS fans 28 Oct. 2008
By Yrusac Sim? - Published on
Format: Audio CD
This album, or probably EP is mostly interesting for those of you who thoroughly like the old dEUS, i.e. Worst Case Scenarioand In a Bar, Under the Sea. Everything after that was oriented to more straightforward rock (even though The Ideal Crash is still a decent album). Anyway, this is a one track collage of parts of songs that were allegedly left over from the worst case scenario sessions. It is a weird mix of typical dEUS pieces, with some electronic interludes and violin melodies to link it all up. All it all, it gives a bit of a "Revolution 9" (The Beatles) feeling. Hence, this is not a must-have, unless you are really into the old dEUS. Anyway, then you would know about this record, I suppose.
