I've read two of this authors books and to say I loved them would be an understatement. This book is another to add to her amazing work.

I thought this was going to be another story about a rich alpha male wanting a young innocent girl. Don't get me wrong, I love them stories but how wrong was I in assuming I knew how this story would go. I basically got up this morning and started this book with my morning coffee. Everything was ignored until Id finished the book. The characters are fantastic. Lexy is a strong fiesty character. Lukas is the hot alpha make that gets what he wants. The chase is brilliant. I can't count how many times I held my breath while reading this. As for the twist-I really didn't expect that and it was then that I had to put kindle down for few minutes to actually breath.

Fantastic job to the author. I'm so looking forward to seeing what else your going to write as any books I've read by you so far have been brilliant.

I loved the start of this book and to be honest I wanted to like the rest of it more the main problem for me was that Lexi got on my nerves, her shout and run off attitude got to me a bit and she seemed to go off the deep end at the blink of an eye, her mother was also way over the top but apart from this I liked the book enough to give it 4 stars.

This book charts the relationship between a billionaire and a girl not interested in the money. So nothing new there. It was absolutely riddled with grammatical and spelling errors and jumped around a lot.

Neither character was particularly likeable, he treated her quite badly and she either inexplicably put up with it or ran off without discussing it. There was no real adult relationship there. There was lots of sex but very repetitive and I started skipping them as they didn't add anything.

There was angst in this book but basically it was because they were a dysfunctional couple who couldn't talk about it. It got a bit silly really.

The story had some great elements and if the author had taken the time to make a more believable story line and get rid of all the errors, it could have been great. I have given it 3 stars because at the end of the day it seems to me like a copycat book and others have done this so much better.

“I love you, my most precious one”

★✩★✩★ 5+ Why can't I ever get customers like THAT?! Stars ★✩★✩★
~this review may contain minor spoilers~

~'Breathe, just breathe'. I wanted him. I needed him. No. It was so much more than that. That was why I fought him so hard; that's why I fought with myself. I was lost now. Now, I was feeling what I dreaded the most. Fear. ~

Alexia, or Lexi, spent most of her life being controlled and strong-armed by her overbearing Greek mother. Now she is living her life exactly as she wants to, doing what she wants, making herself happy and answering to no one. Her mother still tries to keep hold of the reins, but Lexi has learned some fantastic avoidance when it comes to her mom. She has her own place, is studying for her Masters and waitresses at an trendy Montréal Bistro surrounded by friends. She enjoys her freedom and will not let anything threaten it again... til he walks in the door. Lukas Blakk may be the sexiest man she has ever encountered, and waiting on him at the Bistro has definitely fueled some heavy fantasies, but the reality of the man is way more than she bargained for. Her pursues her relentlessly and she would love nothing more than to just give into the hormones he sets on fire, but he threatens everything she has struggled to achieve. She does not want to be put in a cage, she cannot lose the control she has fought to have over her life and she is terrified of losing herself to his overwhelming existence, but Lukas is not a man who takes the word no lightly; he knows what he wants and will stop at nothing to get it.

~“Don't give me that look, Alexia. You like it that I want to own you.”
I wasn't going to argue with him, because the reality was, I did love it.

Really liked this story as there were lots of ups and downs and steady build of the events. Gut clenching surprises, and I changed my mind many times should they be together or not, but it all came to good in the end. Really liked the details and history on this book and the hot sex ;)

The basic story was ok but God . If felt like the author had to put every up and down
. There could have been in the story . It was like watching a yo yo . To me it just felt too dragged out . Lukkas. Over all I liked him . He wanted to please and look after lexi. My be a little over the top but had a good heart . Lexi I thought was a lot more self centred . It seemed like she always wanted her own way .this came across with her friends as well . So over all I was not that keen on Lexie.
