also shows the difficulties for a working woman struggling to cope with a busy lifestyle.
excellent..i'd recommend it to anyone who likes a good love story with obstacles along the way...suspense filled.
This one is just so boring though and I don't know if I can read much more. I'm on page 84 and still haven't got into it. There are dull and rambling conversations, some about things that happened 20 years ago, which you know in real life just wouldn't happen. I know it's probably to give the reader background to the story but if you were in the same room listening to it, you'd go off and find something else to do!
The author is also obsessed with the main character's hair colour - we seem to be told everytime she moves that she has blonde hair. I did wonder about going back and counting how many times it's mentioned but I really couldn't bear to read it again!!
Really disappointing. I recommend Sheila O'Flanagan's other books but unfortunately not this one.
The story itself lacked substance and any sort of page-turning edge. Having said that, it was an easy read and 'mind occupying' if that's what you're after.
I've read other books by this author and I must admit, I was a bit disappointed with this one.

Same old same old, or perhaps it picks up? I bought it for a pound and got to page 182 before wanting to set it, myself, the incredible fictional cat and anything else in the way... Read morePublished 9 months ago by Ms V. A. Alexander

these books are great for that long plane journey you get so engrossed you forget you are in the air.
