No guns, no weapons of any kind, instead a series of abilities you learn as you go. Possess people (and cats), throw yourself bodily through space to explore hard to reach areas, hide in the residue of ghosts, throttle evil monsters. Good stuff.
It all takes place in a little hamlet-sized town, and the idea is to solve a series of crimes once you've already been murdered by the prime suspect. Spooky.
A short game though, and once it's complete, it's complete. But a nice, good-looking, enjoyable diversion.
I was quite miffed to discover that at the end of the campaign, I was unable to just drop back into the world and find all the collectables I had missed. The only way to get these now is to start a new game. I was also surprised at the lack of side quests. To start with there was one in every location, then after about the third 'help' quest, fellow ghosts would tell me their sad story and Ronan would respond with regret at how he couldn't help them. This left me wondering why the developers had bothered putting these NPCs in the story at all. To make this game even more one dimensional, there is also no multi-player campaign.
In summary, it's not a bad game, far too short, but that is subjective and also, relative to the amount of money you pay for the game. My advice is to wait until it is at bargain basement price, because although you will be getting quality, you won't be getting much in the way of quantity.
P.s if you're an achievement Hunter make sure you have all collectibles BEFORE entering the judgment house !!this will avoid a second play through lol
