More than just a relaxing evening in front of the television, "Murder She Wrote, Vol 2" is enjoyable on a number of levels. Angela Lansbury provides the charm and the solutions, while you can also enjoy placing the guest actors in their more familiar roles. The time and manners may have changed, but the plots are enjoyable; impossible murders keep you watching to see how the scriptwriters are going to dig themselves out of their very deep holes! A lot is accomplished within a reasonable timeframe so a great attention span is not needed, but when you have seen one episode you will want to see the next. It makes for very good light entertainment and one hopes that further volumes are on the way.

What to tell about Murder, She Wrote. Maybe that's one of the best mystery series ever seen of tv. I'm sure you've seen at least one episode of it, and if you liked it (I'm quite sure you did!), you should buy this tape, cause here there's the pilot episode "The Murder of Sherlock Holmes": here you'll learn who Jessica Fletcher is!

This video includes the first ever, pilot episode for what was to be one of the most watched and longest running TV shows ever!! It explains how Jessica Fletcher became a top-selling mysery writer and how she got involved in her first case, the death of Sherlock Holmes!! The video runs some 3hours+ and its sooooooooooo 80's!!! Its light, easy and abit of fun trying to guess 'whodunit'. Something to watch while doin' the ironing, as its enjoyable without requiring too much thought!!
