I have now read seven of this series, they provide an easy if naive read but they do require some stringent editing. Too many typos, misspellings and mixing of characters, Janice his secretary becomes Janet in the middle of one book. Too much space in the stories are taken up with meal menus and the characters previous histories. The seven so far would have been better as single book but a pleasant time waster for train commutes.
