Product description

This USB Multi-meter plugs directly into any USB socket or Micro-USB charger or cable. It displays on the screen the voltage, current and capacity. Acts as both a vol and amp meter. All three are shown at the same time so there is no need to switch between screens. It is powered when you plug it in so no batteries are needed. Backlit screen will let you see it in low light conditions. Will handle up to 3.5A which is more than enough to test any cell phone or tablet. The monitor is suitable for 0-2.5 Amps, and 3-20 Volts and has an accuracy better than 1%. It can also give you a rough estimate of the capacity of the device you are charging. Made by Muker.

"Data Checking Mode" is entered by double clicking the button really fast. When in this mode the screen blinks and you can select the current data bank you are using by single clicking the button really fast. Each time you single click the button, it moves to the next data bank and then rotates back to the fist bank (bank 0) if you click it at the last bank (bank 9). You exit "Data Checking Mode" by double clicking the button really fast.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb piece of kit
By Alex on 16 October 2016
I bought this small USB Amp meter in order to see why sometimes my phone would take longer to charge and to test each cable I had in house.

It does exactly what it says on the tin, it provides you with Voltage, amper, and a rough MAH readin on an easy to read display.

It also features 9 different slots, which makes testing different powerbanks/devices a breeze.

It feature both USB and micro USB inputs.

The MAH imput counter goes up to 19,999MAH reading, after which it will read FULL.

I would highly recommend it to anybody who has multiple USB cables around the house, so you can see which ones are quality ones and which ones you should get rid off, and how CPU heat will affect your phone's charging performance (in my case I found out that if my Sony Z3 compact goes over 40 degrees, the powerdraw drops from 1,3-,1,4A to about 0,6-0,8A until it cools off.
