Very simple plot with few surprises, twists and turns. Biggest disappointment was this book failed to capture the feeling of The Cotswolds. The references made to nearby Cheltenham could easily have been Rochdale or Saffron Walden. If you are looking for a book that transports you to the beautiful Cotswolds, this is not for you.

Good story but prefer her Markby and Meredith novels, pity she has stopped writing them, but enjoyed reading it anyway.

Slow, and lacked depth and intrigue. The characters were two dimensional. The story had a fair concept, but was not fully explored.I read the book to the end, in the hope that it improved. Sadly it did not. Pity. Put into the Charity Shop.

Good believable plot, well written, interesting characters. Story moves forward at the right pace. Great title. Never suspected the villain.
