Christian Slater and Rami Malek (Twilight Breaking Dawn, Night At The Museum) star in the returning season of this multi-award winning and critically acclaimed must-see TV Series. Rami Malek (Primetime Emmy Award Best Actor 2016, Mr Robot) is Elliot a young computer programmer who works as a cyber-security engineer by day and vigilante hacker by night. The story picks up from the last series when Christian Slater (Emmy Award Winning Best Supporting Actor in TV Role 2016), a mysterious leader of an underground hacker group recruits Elliot to destroy the very corporation he’s paid to protect.

Oh yeah, also, if you like this show, there's an EXCELLENT movie covering similar ground, but with a style all it's own, called "Who am I?" - Also free with prime, WELL worth checking out if you dig Mr Robot! ;)
As intended, uncomfortable viewing. Topical too, nowadays hackers so often in the news. A central theme seems how much in the world is but an illusion - we in fact knowing little of what is really going on, not even very much about our true selves.
Cult viewing. Fans ecstatic. Those less enchanted may feel impact would be greater if more focussed - too often self-indulgence and pretentiousness masquerading as style. (As in Episode 11.)
Both addicts and those not so keen are likely to agree the show owes much to Rami Malek's mesmerizing central performance. That battle for control of his mind genuinely disturbs, Christian Slater unnerving as the sinister adversary who may even turn out to be on Elliot's side.
Twelve episodes. Disc 4's bonus feature may help to clarify a little. I emerged regretting not having understood more.
I loved the direction that season 2 took, and it added a whole new dimension to the dynamic of the show.
Season 2 cemented Mr Robot as my favourite show on TV right now. It got deeper and I loved how it explored the psyche of the characters and the story. Its one show I always looked forward to and had to watch as soon as I could. The story is gripping with an amazing cast, brilliant plots and sub plots that work the mind. Its like nothing else out there.
Rami Malek is brilliant as Elliot and you get a inside into his mind and world that just draws you into the show and grips you. The acting from all of the cast is amazing, with some plot twists that make you go wow.
It is a show that will make you think, and requires your attention when watching but it is well researched and the subject area does not seem to be glamourised of falsified. Instead it is very dark and gritty.
Can't wait for more
When I first started watching this I thought it was alot like Fight Club but no fighting and computers instead, they even used the song 'where is my mind' which was uses in fight club, but this continues the story past the revaluation.
Any way it's a great show and I've probably said too much already. Go watch it, enjoy and I hope I don't have to wait too long for season 3!
