About the Artist
Don Campbell, the world's leading authority on the transformational powers of music, is the author of nine books, including the best-selling The Mozart Effect® and The Mozart Effect® for Children. Campbell studied in France with Nadia Boulanger, famed teacher and mentor to many of this generation's master classical artists during his high school years, followed by university studies in performance and music education. Since 1980, Campbell has studied and documented the role and uses of music in a wide range of areas including physical and mental healthcare, education and the world's spiritual traditions. He is a much-in-demand lecturer, teacher and workshop leader in the business, medical, therapeutic, education and personal growth arenas. Don Campbell also has selected, sequenced and edited a set of children's recordings, each designed to achieve a particular effect and geared to the taste and sensibilities of young people. Each release is an enhancing musical experience, plus the perfect way to introduce children to the joys of classical music.
Top Customer Reviews
I rotate several of these types of recordings as background music for my children's homework and learning times and they do seem to help them settle and focus. Anecdotal of course but they're pleasant background music anyway, the children don't mind them (even the teens) and if they are focusing their minds, so much the better.
