Format: Paperback
This is a fascinating collection of case studies, of troubled people who have been greatly helped with their deepest problems by the author, and by his subtle use of movies as part of their therapy, to help them unearth the source of their troubles. No jargon, no complex analytical theory, just moving accounts of his patients' slow process to self-discovery. It persuaded me to go to the author's Movie Therapist website to find out more. Highly recommended.Movie Therapy: How it Changes Lives

The case studies in this book bring to life the extraordinary way in which this very skilled psychotherapist uses film in his work with clients. A very down to earth but moving read.

5.0 out of 5 stars This book is a great rendition of how one therapist uses movies in therapy 23 Aug. 2014

This book is a great rendition of how one therapist uses movies in therapy. It provides a sincere and revealing account that takes you into the therapy session itself. I've read many books on movie therapy and this one is unique for its description of several cases from start to finish. Highly recommended for therapists considering using movies in therapy.
