Also touches on spirituality and sci-fi - although matters of science still elude me. I must say that after reading this book felt I had somewhat been given a lesson in science.
What I loved about this novel was that I felt the author goes to great lengths to break down science matters yet still manages to keep you connected to the story.
An excellent first time novel and I look forward to part two of this trilogy!!
I was immediately attracted to this book at the store and as soon as I picked it up and read the back cover I just had to have it. Although I am not much of a Sci-fi reader, the story is so well put together and written that I almost felt like I was at the movies!
It is a brilliant and ingenious mixture of fantasy, sci-fi and spirituality, I'm a big fan of the later and therefore I was in for a big treat... Feels like the Author has lived a million life times to impart so much soul and wisdom in such an intelligible way.
I'm now reading part two of this trilogy and it keeps getting better, so I definitely recommend it.
Get it, you'll be happy you did:-)
