About the Author
Sally Hartland was born in 1959 in Knutsford, Cheshire where she lived until 1981 when she married and moved to London. Sally began writing when her fascination with mnemonics culminated in her first book Big Elephants Are Useful. This prompted further research into the droll topic of euphemisms and as a result Mousewives & Muffintops emerged. Sally now lives in Bath with her husband, two daughters and elderly labrador.
