5. The Cow Thief

Farmers Wetty Huff and Tate Fletcher have both reported missing cows. It is clear to everyone that the cows have been stolen. 7. Lawman Barney

When Andy receives a letter from an ex-convict named Luke Comstock, Barney becomes very worried for his sheriff. 18. The Loaded Goat

Local farmer Cy Hudgins has brought his pet goat, Jimmy, into town with him as he is afraid to leave him home alone. The highway department has been using dynamite nearby to blast for a new underpass for Mayberry. The goat has been very upset by the blasting. While in town running errands, Cy ties Jimmy to a bench. The goat gets free with disastrous results.

19. Class Reunion

31. Mountain Wedding

32. The Big House

The Mayberry jail must temporarily house 2 bandits from Memphis until 2 detectives arrive in town to transport them back to Tennessee. The bandits are part of a gang of criminals, and it is believed that their comrades will try to help them escape. In preparation for their arrival, Barney deputizes Gomer in order to have another pair of eyes keeping watch on the roof of the courthouse.
