There was a problem filtering reviews right now. Please try again later.
Initial reaction was that these looked very good and seem to work well. Didn't take long to pair them, but took two attempts to update the firmware after downloading the app to give me full use of this device.
Initially tried it on Amazon music excellent response and then on BBC radio player with equally good response. The last thing to try was some of my movies. This is were the earbuds fell sadly short, the speech was out of sync with the movie. As I use my Bluetooth earphones frequently for listening to movies this obviously rules this device out for me.
To sum up if you're just listening to music or speech then they should be fine for you. However if you do want to watch movies do not bother with this device.
4th October. After my review on Amazon I got a reply from the manufacturers asking me to try them using the movie settings on the app. This I did it did make the sync problem marginally better but did not cure it. As I quite liked the idea of these is decided to persever with them.
I recalled that on the app (BS player) I used for watching my movies there was an adjustment that could be made to adjust for sync. I tried this and settled on 700ms adjustment. Now anything I play through this app is back in sync. Although I am now very happy with these, very few right bud drop outs, charge lasts for over three hours reasonable sound quality, I am not going to put my rating up until they get the sync problem sorted.
Noticed that they have gone up from £149 to £199 have to be honest I would not have bought them at this price.
1) one earpiece did fall out of my ear even though I wasn't even moving at the time. I'd be petrified of losing one or both if is used these out of the house for instance on a packed train in rush hour.
2) most importantly one of the earpieces keeps losing signal briefly. It just goes dead and then comes back on again a second later. Happened consistently over about an hour and a half of use. Completely ruined the experience of listening to music.
So all in all if it wasn't for the sound issue it would have been 4 stars and if it came with clips to go over the ears to stop from falling out it would have been 5 stars. Nice try though Motorola.
I'm getting the disconnection of the right earphone which is momentary but I am currently sitting at a PC not moving my head so what will happen when I am walking about? Edit - I used the phones whilst moving about my living room and the drop out was no worse than when sitting. Unpredictable so difficult to pinpoint if something I am doing causes it.
The sound is okay, I've heard better from other blutooth headphones but these have yet to be broken in (it takes several hours use for them to optimise so the quality may improve). I miss the ability to change the volume from the phones but obviously there's no space to fit that kind of control to these.
