If you want to read a review for the Moto E 2nd gen with all the technical jargon and specification info, then this isn't the review for you. I will however give my unbiased opinion for what it's worth. I have been using the Google nexus 4 for a couple of years, which has served me very well and is still a good smartphone. It doesn't however have 4g capabilities, but still has a pretty good spec. I'm on the Three network so wanted to take advantage of 4g access which you get at no extra cost, but didn't want to spend a fortune on another phone.
As another poster has written you get the Moto e and a usb lead for charging and that's it, there is no plug or any other extras. The screen size is perfect for me which I want to fit nicely into my pocket, not the size of a small tablet. The power and volume buttons stick out slightly on the right side so are very user friendly, but removing the band around the phone to insert a micro sim or memory card is a bit fiddly. The screen is very clear for its lower resolution, I have been watching YouTube videos and the quality was good as was the sound.
The phone comes with pretty much stock android, the latest version lollipop. It isn't loaded with endless bloatware, just a few extra Motorola apps. Battery life has been good and easily lasts a day with quite heavy use. I haven't noticed any stuttering whilst running different apps, although I've only had the phone a couple of days. When I'm at home I use my wifi network, but when I'm out and about with work etc I do require decent Internet access. The 3g access has served me pretty good, but as I've written the purpose of this smartphone was for 4g access. I have to say I'm not disappointed, the speed at which pages load and the little time downloads take is fantastic, obviously I'm in a decent 4g area but the Moto e works great.

I have given the Moto e 4g 2nd gen 5 stars because I feel it's an outstanding value smartphone running the latest android software, if people want all the top specs for several hundred pounds then good luck to them. If you're looking for an extremely good value unit for not a lot of money, then you just found it.

I needed a budget 'phone with e-mail and sat nav capabilities to replace an elderly Nokia which had started to be unreliable.I only occasionally need to use the web on my 'phone, don't play games, and almost always carry a proper camera, so have no need for a high spec. mobile. Much research led me to decide on this Moto E, and I am very happy with it.

The 'phone is slim, not as huge to pocket as some others, and has a quality feel . Setting up everything took a while because I was not very familiar with the android OS, but at least all the options on offer meant I could fine tune the 'phone to my requirements without allowing google to 'make everything easy ' for me (or as I cynically think, make me dependent on their products)

The included instruction leaflet is very little help other than for getting the sim installed , so go to Motorolas website for the full 70 page PDF guide.
Replacing the band which surrounds the edge after putting sim and memory card in was a bit of a struggle, I see you can buy different coloured ones to suit your mood, I'd be in a foul mood if I tried to regularly swap the things, so shan't be bothering ! At least the tight fit suggests the band is an effective dust proofing for those sockets.

To my surprise I was able to painlessly transfer my contacts from the old Symbian Nokia to this 'phone by bluetooth which saved a lot of effort. I have worked the 'phone pretty hard for a couple of days while setting it up, downloading widgets and playing around investigating screens and settings etc , but the battery has lasted very well - two days at least per charge. Which reminds me: no charger comes in the box, just a usb cable so you can use an existing charger or a computer usb socket. I've used both a mains adapter with a 1 amp output and a laptop port with no problem.

Le téléphone commandé était décrit comme noir, il est arrivé blanc... Bon, ce n'est pas grave mais ça marque mal. Pas de transfo non plus, mais c'est du micro USB, donc pas grave non plus.
Pour le reste tout va bien mais j'étais un peu mitigé quand j'ai ouvert la boite.
Le principal est que le téléphone marche très bien donc j'ai oublié tout ça...
