I wouldn’t call it a ‘self-help’ book but more of a must-read for anyone who has any kind of job or wants to feel a little more happy and motivated in life. This book will boost your energy, attitude, behaviour, beliefs and happiness. Buy it now!
I have to say that Gavin’s book holds its own in the hallowed world of positive thinking authors. In some respects – personality, humour, empathy – he may excel above the more established.
Has Gavin created all these powerful thoughts? It doesn’t matter. Several of Mr Robbin’s observations date back to Plato. Sure, Gavin does offer some nuggets that could be original flashes of inspiration. I believe that Gavin’s particular strength, however, is his ability to make accessible to us ordinary folk, in an incredibly engaging way, years of his own exposure to the motivational gurus.
This book is invaluable to business professionals. That being said, unless you live in a cave, and deprive yourself of all interaction with any other humans, you will learn loads from Gavin’s book. Plus you’ll enjoy the process. Invest in yourself. Invest a few pounds to get you strolling through life. Buy Which Way Do You Eat Your Banana? You’ll be exposed to icebergs, man-eating animals, bananas, And you’ll enjoy the process.
I was trained many years ago my the author and it opened my mind to a whole new way of thinking about everything in my life.
Fast forward a few years and I find myself in a new job, in a new industry and everything was different. I had lost track of a lot of what I had learned from Gavin, which was a shame as his work had transformed my experience as brand new sales manager. So I couldn't have been happier when I came across this book on Amazon.
I couldn't recommend this book more as it will be a positive force on anyone who reads it. Not only has it impacted be on my new job in less than one week of reading it but it's also had a really positive impact on my personal life as well.
My iceberg is strong, my lake is full and I'm excited about the future!
I love the iceberg analogy along with the psychological and spiritual blend and general feel good tips.
The "moo" is great. But I really like the lake concept towards the end and how it pieces it all together.
Overall, a great read which can only but add some happiness and positivity to yours and in turn other peoples lives.
I love the iceberg analogy and how the book pieces everything together towards the end. A great tool for spreading more positivity and happiness to your own life, your colleagues as well as family and friends.
Very best of luck with the book Gavin.
