There are some excellent reviews already for this product, but I felt I had to add my opinions too!!

I am a disabled man with carers who switch on a massive oven just to cook something for me! Naturally it costs a fortune and I was pulling my hair out until I was introduced to this machine.

Its incredible. There is hardly any washing up and whilst it looks complicated it honestly is so simple to use. I get given very limited time for my lunch call and the carer is here for 30 minutes maximum but with this I get fried chips within minutes! They make risotto's, steam my vegetables and cook meat all in one pan!! Obviously you need to keep the food warm whilst you cook the next lot but it is soooooooo quick! I love it! You can set the timer and it switches itself on and lunch is ready when it bleeps!

This has replaced so many of my larger appliances and has made my life so much easier and safer. Large saucepans are dangerous, but the cooking dish is so light and is easy to remove with oven gloves! I just love this machine and recommend it to smaller households!

I know its expensive, but I use it everyday!

Got this for christmas last year, it does what it says and cooks well.
What lets it down is that steam and gunk from cooking stick to the lid and the rim and its near impossible to get a cloth in all the nooks and crannies so you can never get it properly clean.
If the lid could have been lifted off to run under the tap it would be a hugh improvement.
Maybe the next model will be better.
I like the machine but the time it takes me to clean it after everytime I use it is a real pain.

Download and familiarise yourself with the instructions before you order - this is an amazing piece of kitchen equipment which does almost everything but microwave and grill. Small enough to leave on the worksurface but big enough to cater for 6-8 people (at least). I've bought one for my daughter to take to University (her request having used mine!). Very versatile - I'll be asking our Archery Club whether they want their French beans boiled or steamed at our celebration of Azincourt ...

Another kitchen gadget? Yes! But one which is well worth the counter space. In the last month I've only used my main oven for Sunday family dinners! The rice and pasta settings produce fluffy rice and al dente pasta without thinking about it; the slow cooker aspect is wonderful; the recipe book provided gives basic settings which you can then adapt to your own recipes too. The only thing I haven't tried yet is the cake making as I'm trying not to have cake in the house! But I'm sure that will work too. Food cooked in an Intellichef keeps its flavour, without adding too many calories - less oil etc.
Great purchase!

This is absolutely ultimate gadget and can replace most of my cooking devices. I use it daily and tried all designer's programmes which are working in accordance with the manufacture specification.
The only problem I have after of 6 months of enjoyable use and extremely careful handling, I never even used a dishwasher for cleaning the pot, IntelliChief is cracking to bits. I discovered three rather ridge deep cracks on the perimeter of the ridge of it's plastic body. Sometime ago first crack appeared on the plastic cap of it's ventilation cover and rather long and deep, inner, crack on the front display. Sounds like it is manufacture fault or this intelligent gadget is not suitable for regular use.

The best bit of kitchen kit I have ever bought. It is so not gathering dust in the back of cupboard. It is great for cooking anything it says it can! Started off by following the recipe book which was really useful. Now adapt and make own recipes because am confident with how the cooker works. Pasta and rice dishes are so easy. Love the fact you can fry ingredients in it then just add the rest as saves on pfaffing about and also washing up. The flavours in the stews are yum as all kept in the dish. Don't bother buying a slow cooker and rice cooker etc just get this. It lives on my kitchen worksurface and is in use all the time.

I have used it on 4 occasions so far. I made Stifado, the meat was melt in your mouth tender & the flavours were great. Also made the banana cake, I cooked it for the 45mins it says. But at the end the top still looked underdone. So I put it back on for another 15mins. After that it was perfect. Also used as a frying pan, no problems at all. Used the keep warm function, which is a bonus. I have it out on my worktop, where it will stay. As I will use it often. Expensive, but considering all the things you can use it for, I think worth the money.
Also very easy to clean.

I have this cooker for more than a year and simply love it. I am especially fond on the slow cook function, allowing me to cook great stews overnight. It is so simple and easy to chop the vegetables in large pieces, put a piece of meat, add the spices, water and some wine -and then you have an extremely delicious stew in the mornung. I also use it very often to prepare spaghetti Bolonese - making the sauce first, using the fry function, then adding the pasta, putting water and cooking it. No more piles of pans to wash when you decide to have an Italian dinner! If you are travelling somewhere or live for a while at a place, not having an equipped kitchen, Morhy Richards is all you need!
