I thought I would write this review to clarify that the hardback version of this great cookbook has truly stunning and mouth-watering photos for almost every dish.
Having not eaten much Moroccan food, I was delighted to discover just how tempted I was by so many of the recipes in this book!

Have wanted this book for a long time after many travels in Morocco and eating at M'souli's restaurant in Manly, so I was very happy to find it at the right price on Amazon. Some lovely authentic Moroccan recipes and some of M'souli's more modern adaptations makes sure there's a good variety of dishes to try & enjoy.

there's no pics in this book which might not bother some people but a picture now and again to help inspire us would have been nice. however, if you take some time out and just read through some recipes and visualise as you're going along you'll get the inspiration you need. you'll need to source orange flower water or rosewater (the former being tastier!) to make most of these recipes (avail at asian foodshops online or waitrose now sell it) but other than that, all ingredients are readily avaialbe in stores everywhere without the need for searching. an interesting chef to read about and i enjoy his methods.

Borrowed it from the local library and didn't want to take it back. Amazon came to the rescue with a pristine copy that I will treasure (very good photography).

5.0 out of 5 stars A Hit at a Moroccan Dinner Party 27 Aug. 2006
By SLOReader - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
My course was dessert at a recent dinner and I found the recipe for Moroccan chocolate cake in this book. It was an amazing hit at the dinner party and one of the best desserts we have ever had at our gourmet dinners.

I love the recipes in this book and the accompanying full-page photos of what each recipe is to look like. The recipes are varied, and the ingredients can be found in my market. The book is not only a book recipes one might try to taste the cusine of Morocco, but a book of recipes one would use every day.

5.0 out of 5 stars Delicious Recipes, Great Pictures 27 Oct. 2005
By S. Erden Kabatas - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
I love to cook and I am an avid cookbook collector. I was looking for a "modern" moroccan cookbook for a long time. Finally I found one. All the recipies are well-thought-out, simple and delicious. Chef/Author Hassan M'Souli combines the traditional Moroccan recipes with the the innovative and fresh perspective of Australian way of cooking. Great for entertaining and cooking for the family.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful food that is easy to make 25 April 2008
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
I have been into Moroccan cooking for a few years now. This recipe book is easy to follow, and most of the ingredients can be found in your local supermarket. He even tells your how to make some hard-to-get ingredients from scratch, such as preserved lemons, harissa and za'atar.

If you and your family love sweet and spicy moroccan food, this is the recipe book for you.

4.0 out of 5 stars Authentic and relatively easy to follow 20 Mar. 2010
By Momof4in NH - Published on Amazon.com

Having my Moroccan husband love everything I have made from this book, is worth its' weight in Gold! My husband doesn't need recipes to cook because he has done it for 30 years (but still doesn't have consistent results when he cooks) but being an American, I needed to measure and have directions to follow. The Harira in this book was according to three Moroccans - the best they ever tasted and the dish with beef stew meat, artichoke hearts and fava beans (I substituted Lima beans) was also a huge hit.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love this Cookbook 3 Dec. 2008
By LM - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
I'm not really an amazing cook, but the recipes in this book are easy and look really impressive. The truth is, I bought it for the photographs, but it has become my go-to cookbook for parties and special meals.
