PLOT...
A corporate risk-management consultant must decide whether or not to terminate an artificially created humanoid being.

This is probably the coolest sci-fi to come along since Ex Machina, a small budget movie but it looks stunning and plays out brilliantly with a great unfolding story a strong cast and just an overall great atmosphere, the movie is lead by two main characters, Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch, Split) as Morgan who is a brilliant young actress and Kate Mara (The Martian, Fantastic Four) Who plays the corporate consultant is absolutely brilliant, the movie plays out in a cool way with some interesting twists towards the end, the movie gets violent at times and has some cool small action moments, overall its just a wonderful movie that's great to watch and I would absolutely go back to watch it again many times too, good support cast of many famous faces like Michelle Yeoh, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Toby Jones and Brian Cox, make sure you check out this little gem.

I've seen The Machine, I've seen Ex Machina. They helped to provide some thought provoking questions about the nature of humanity and our relationships with each other and the technology that surrounds us. Now we have this. It's not fair to compare this to the other two movies, this is a "thriller" in some fashion, but in a thriller you need to care about the characters and what happens to them. Toby Jones's Simon Ziegler was interesting and I enjoyed his portrayal, but the rest? It was very hit and miss. Even with a great cast assembled it can't carry the film through the more improbable moments. I'd have loved to have loved this, but it can't quite carry it off. This could have been something great and with Ridley Scott producing it could have been a new sci fi thriller classic, it just doesn't quite do it.

Good movie. It starts out as an exiting and psychological sci-fi slowburner but later takes a completely different direction towards some cool action/fight scenes. The horizon expands eventually and it reminds me of the kind of super human agents as we see in, for example, the latest version of Hitman 47.
Yes, Mr Scott can safely begin to make a Sequel.

yes a good film worth watching found it a bit slow in the early stages but moved on in the later stages a slight twist at the end but you could say it was a bit predictable really i watched ex machina last week and enjoyed that more

Not sure what the sniffy reviews were about. I found this a really interesting film with plenty of surprises and twists. Yes it's a little like other films such as ex machina, but also different in many ways. Well worth a look.

This is a well thought out plot, well, filmed, directed and especially acted. It is both evocative and damning but well worth watching.
