About the Author

Cardeno C.—CC to friends—is a hopeless romantic who wants to add a lot of happiness and a few awwws into a reader’s day. Writing is a nice break from real life as a corporate type and volunteer work with gay rights organizations. Cardeno’s stories range from sweet to intense, contemporary to paranormal, long to short, but they always include strong relationships and walks into the happily-ever-after sunset.

OMG poor Charlie/Chase, this was what was running through my head while reading this. Charlie really is unlucky in love. He and his first love
Scott are adorable together, both discovering their emotions and their sexual attraction to men and then Scott has to move away because of family. Charlie feels abandoned and gets on with his life no long willing to risk his heart. Along comes Adan, pushy, confident student. Adan is attracted to Charlie even though his openly 'gay' appearance and behaviour is something Adan hates. Charlie is 'out' and proud but Adan is hidden away in the closet and wants to keep their relationship secret. More heartache for Charlie.
Can it get any worse for the poor man? Give him a break. Nope, tragedy makes him a guardian and responsibilities are thrust upon him and then who walks through the door? OMG, poor Charlie, just to reiterate how I feel!
Really enjoyed this story or 3 different but intertwined love stories.

A wonderful story - I would give this one ten stars if I could. I think this is my favourite one of the series so far. I love Chase's narration. The characters are well-rounded and convincing. This one is definitely a keeper!

This is a menage between Scott, Charlie & Adan. I don't want to give anything away by saying what happens in this book, but Charlie has his heart broken twice but he gets his happy ending. If u enjoy m/m/m then you'll love this.

Highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed.

...the end, though it ended in the start of what I felt was a true HEA for this trio.

I'm fairly new to this author, and the more I'm reading, the more I'm liking her tales for the warmth of her characters, her everyday life stuff, and for the emotional pangs she delivers. I do like that there's not huge angst, just the right amount so that the tales aren't Bollywood/sickly sweet.

With this, I loved the style in which she narrated this mainly through Charlie/Chase's eyes, and then at other times through the voices of Scott and Adan. Yes, I did have to suspend disbelief a little that his exes would find each other, fall for each other and make a lifetime commitment to each other, though both admitted to still loving him and missing him...though that was unvoiced until he appeared back in their lives. I did also have to go with the flow when the author revealed that they were both tops who...accommodated the other occasionally, and that Charlie/Chase was the bottom they'd been missing, as to me, this kind of seemed something that should have caused a little angst, but no, C/C just thought it the icing on his cake.

I loved the sound of the family they were about to make together, but again had to suspend disbelief over the adoption ivo their living arrangements, but unlike in most books, I was totally happy to put on my Bollywood specs and accept this and rejoice in the guys' happiness.

Ebook courtesy of the author, in return for an honest review.

I'll admit - I was wary going into this one. I'm always a little unsure about MMM since I can't fathom how not to be jealous of the third person and worry that someone is always a little less loved than the other pair. After reading the blurb I wasn't sure I could stand the possibility of the betrayal that Charlie/Chase would feel seeing his two past loves turn up together - and when it happened it was like being STABBED THROUGH THE HEART...

But - I should have trusted Cardeno C to look after my heart from the start because the building back up of Chase/Scott/Adan's relationship was beautiful and believable. Chase, whilst clearly still in love with the pair was no pushover and made them work for it, and Scott and Adan did their penance as a pair, and their time together sans Chase wasn't rubbed in our faces after they reconnected (it would have felt a bit like cheating if it had been more prominent).

So, overall, whilst I'm not a big MMM reader, I was happy to have read this one. I totally got these three as a threesome, not a pair-plus-one, and although I cried a little in the middle, I had happy tears by the end.

This book is Chase's story and is set out differently to the others. It is done more as a commentary, as Chase sits at the table scrapbooking, but to find out the whole story, you have to read through the book. It is an interesting way of telling a story and one that I was intrigued with.

I enjoyed the story itself, although not as much as Strong Enough or Something In The Way He Needs. However, that is definitely not saying that this book isn't a good read, because it is. You get details from Adan, Scott and Chase as the book progresses, making it easy to see how their relationships worked.

Another great read in the Family Series, definitely recommended.

* I received this book from WLK Book Promotions in return for a fair and honest review. *

I bought this book mainly out of curiosity, I didn't know much about gay relationships and how they work... and this book gave me a lot of insight about how your stereotypical "gay guy" and how they aren't true.so thank you for this book :)
