Very good condition.Being vhs the sound is .not as good as the dvd addition, but is still good.As the dvd versions are in short supply and are very expensive.this will suffice at the moment.Like all of the Moodies concerts this is very watchable time after time.Recommend.

A must for any Moody Blues fan especially if you have been lucky enough to see them with an Orchestra. See all the favourite songs performed with the added depth the orchestral backing gives them. You experience the intensity of the atmosphere at what must be a marvalous venue to not only watch and perform Rock Music. The Moodies professional approach to all they do is very noticable in this truely marvalous video.

Excellent concert, great sound and visuals. They did so many of their classic tracks and made them sound, in many cases, even better than the original. The blend of orchestra and rock group really worked here. This is a must for anyone who has ever enjoyed the old Moodies albums from Days of Future Passed to Seventh Sojourn.

I have followed the Moodies since the sixties, but lost interest after Seventh Sojourn as my tastes changed. I came back to the Moodies after on a whim buying Red Rocks and I was blown away by it. Recorded in 1992 their performance was fantastic, having a full symphony orchestra behind them was the icing on the cake. Being an open air concert at Red Rocks gave a tremendous atmosphere to the whole concert. They played tracks from nearly every album throughout their entire career. Obviously Justin Hayward was the king pin, but the others played their part as well, John Lodge seemed to be enjoying the whole event, a true aging rocker, I loved his 'Lean on Me Tonight'. The concert had some really good rock'n roll as only the Moodies can play, I'm Just A Singer in a Rock and Roll Band was a real head banger. This concert inspired me to see them in Bournemouth last year and it was great to see them again after so many years, their music has a lasting quality. If you want the definitive Moodies in concert buy Red Rocks you will not be disappointed.

HAVING WAITED FOR A LIVE PERFORMANCE OF THE MOODY BLUES FOR SUCH A LONG TIME ON VIDEO I WAS ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY BY IT! FROM THE OPENING FANFARE TO THE ALMOST HUSHED INTRO, BY GRAEME EDGE,AFTER LISTENING FOR ALL THESE YEARS TO THEIR RECORDS,TAPES AND NOW C.D.s IT WAS GREAT TO, AT LAST, ENJOY WATCHING THE GUYS DELIVER THEIR GREAT MUSIC. I PARTICULARLY ENJOYED "ISN'T LIFE STRANGE?" AND "LEAN ON ME" BUT ALL THE GREAT MOODIES SONGS ARE THERE AND ANY MOODY BLUES FAN WOULD LOVE THIS CONCERT!
