Yet another brilliant read from The Beastly Boys. There's trouble in store for Dr Fielding at the RSPCB (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Beasts) when an injured sea monster is brought in. More twists and turns and a great adventure for young readers (mine are almost 11 and almost 7 - and a girl and a boy). And there's plenty of excitement for the grown-ups too! Highly recommended. Check out the first book - Werewolf versus Dragon - if you've not read it.

What a fantastic book. I loved reading this to my son, and it is the first book he has picked up to read for the pure enjoyment of reading, rather than because he has to learn to read for school. That in itself is worth every penny of the cover price.
Matt & Dave came to my attention through that loveable yet disgusting character YUCK, and with the addition of Guy to the mix have become a formidable writing team, which really works well. The books are exceptionally well thought out and worded in such a way as to appeal to younger and older readers alike. I have now also bought the rest of the set. One will be given to him for his birthday, and the last one will be for later. As well as being lovely books to read for now, their presentation in the hardback with unique animated plate mean they will surely become classic collectibles in the years to come. These will certainly stay on my bookshelf to be enjoyed time and time again.

This is a great new series of books which both me and my 7 year old son have really enjoyed. If your child likes Beast Quest then they will probably enjoy these books too. I am guessing that these are written by a team of writers as are the BQ series however it is less noticeable with Beastly Business (less repetition of phrases) We are now eagerly awaiting for the next ones to come out!

I have taken my son to the library every week from about the age of 2 to get him interested in reading to no avail. This book is a winner for him. He got one as a birthday present and now he is on the second book.

If you have a reluctant reader its worth a try, its also very good value for a hard back.

I first had this for my older son and he loved it so I tried it for my younger son and he has whizzed through it too. The stories keep them interested and it is great for developing his reading.
