Two of my nieces are absolutely Monster High mad at the moment - as with the majority of girls in their years at school. At first glance they may seem a little creepy but I must admit that if Monster High had been out and about when I was little then I would have actually liked dolls (well the Monster High ones anyway) and I am quite upset that I am far too old for them now!
I have bought one of my niece's this Catrine DeMew doll for her Birthday present and I just know that she will be so happy and excited when she opens the gift wrap. Catrine DeMew, Jinafire Long and Clawdeen Wolf are part of a three doll Scare-Mester (New Semester/New Term) range that has recently come out and Catrine is one of the very few dolls that my niece has not yet got. I couldn't resist having a quick peek at the doll before wrapping her and I told myself that "this was for purely checking that everything was included that should be....."!

The Catrine DeMew doll stands at around 27cm tall (this seems to be normal approx height for the MH Dolls). She comes with her purple bag, bangles, striped dress, purple shoes, scarf, bow on her tail, coffin shaped chalk pastel case holder (with chalks inside), hairbrush, doll stand and diary/planner. She has purple hair with pink and purple streaks and her arms, legs, elbows and wrists are jointed and so poseable and I just know that my niece is going to love this doll.

Catrine is the daughter of a Werecat and she is 17 years old. Catrine loves to sketch and is a purrfectionist when it comes to her art and she loves to spend her time organising her paints, brushes, chalks etc as she finds it very calming. She is originally from Scaris (Paris) and speaks French. She is a very stylish Monster High pupil.

I brought this for a relative who is really into this at the moment,
It s a fab doll with extras with it, the delivery was very quick my only criticism is that there could of been more packaging around it to keep it more secure but apart from that it's great

The doll is nice and pretty but there seemed to be some problem with it. There are black dots on her body that could only be removed with nail polish remover, not even alcohol. Did not understand what is in the coffin, are those rings?

I brought this as I wanted a awesome Werecat doll. As I am a werecat/werewolf fan. So, Monster high dolls were amazing for this.
I got this slightly cheaper knowing the box was damaged but everything was all there only a tiny rip.

The doll was amazing, stands well, looks gorgeous, fully poseable which is slightly stuff might were out after use and stands on display and looks amazing. Her hair was so soft and slowly losing the creases from being secured in the box, which is good. I do like that from the other werecat characters she does have a more cat like appearance to her as that her nose was painted. Her hands do come off so you can take the bracelets off if you wanted, I was also happy that the bow on the tail can be removed as I do think it spoils the look of the doll and it doesn't actually as it in the product description.
I like the coffin case which the pencils as they lock into coffin thing and it fits nicely into the bag.

I liked this doll as it was a nice style change to the Toralei doll I have and that I'm not found of the catty noir werecat. Over all a very nice doll and I'm very happy I got one.

A really darling little dolly, and one of the first few I got (about 7 months ago now). I am a huge animal fan, so when I started looking at MH dollies and saw there were 'werecats', I just knew I had to get one. However, at the time there was very little in variety of were-cats - I wanted one with long hair and for a good price, and there wasn't any that fit the bill. Eventually I settled for a different dolly tp kick-start my collection. A few months later, 'Catrine' came out with long, purple hair and a reasonable price tag, so I was really excited to get her. By now, a few newer werecats have come out.

To the actual doll. She is beautifully made, her hair is very soft and has nice colours - lialic with streaks of purple and magenta - what charmed be was the hairstyle, and it has been the only dolly where I've not taken the tie out and opted to style it myself. Her face is designed to look more like a cat's, with her nose painted to look like a little cat's nose and unique (blue) eyes. She also wears make-up that matches her hair. She has ears that pop out her head and, while she dosen't have any earrings, I can see a hole where an earring could possibly be poked though.

Her body is solid white (sadly, not patterned like most of the werecats) and fully articulated, although I did find it VERY stiff at first, and hard to get into and stay in the position I want. The tail can also be rotated and the bow can be removed (a nice surprise actually, as I wasn't very fond of it). Her clothes are simple but sweet, a two-pice dress with a little cardigan - it can be easily removed and actually looks just as good without it. In additon to her clothes, she as a two bracelets (black and purple) and a neck tie.
