Product Description

Monster High: Friday Night Frights
School spirit couldn't be higher as Monster High is racing toward the SKRM (Skullitmate Roller Maze) finals when Clawd and Deuce are mysteriously injured and the team is short its star players. Frankie takes on the tradition of the "boys only sport" and convinces her ghoulfriends to join the team and save Monster High’s school sprirt! They reanimate the game with style, flair and their own unique monster talents. It looks like they are taking Monster High to the SKRM championship until the rival team starts to play dirty tricks. The fate of the sport and their school’s cred are at stake as they skate for the finish line!

Monster High: Why Do Ghouls Fall in Love
Draculaura’s sweet sixteen hundredth birthday is an extra special occasion to party at Monster High, but her high expectations lead to deadly results for her social life when she is faced with the decision between practical boyfriend Clawd and new vampire heartthrob, Valentine, who is a romantic blast from her past. Her ghoulfriends find it odd that he created a holiday in her honor, but named it after himself (how romantic?) and have to stop him before he steals her heart…literally! Draculaura must decide which boy is right for her before the party! Will she find out about Valentine’s sinister plan? Will her beast ghoulfriends be able to help her in time? Will Cupid be a villain or a hero? And most importantly…will Draculaura pass her driving test?

I have two nieces who are Monster High mad and have over 30 Monster High dolls and playsets at my house for them to play with when they visit along with tons more that I have bought them over the last few years (for at their own homes) and so I am no stranger to the world of Monster High. My son absolutely loves watching the Monster High films and so I've recently bought a few of these discs for him and he loves them.

This is a single DVD and case with one disc in but the one disc has the two films on it; Friday Night Frights and Why Do Ghouls Fall in Love. So when buying this set you are getting two films but on one disc.

Friday Night Frights has an approximate run time of 44minutes and the film is about how the Ghouls end up becoming the Skulltimate Roller Maze team for Monster High after Clawd Wolf is injured in a match against Granite City High (Gargoyles). The boys don't think the Ghouls can win but the Ghouls are determined to show that they can skate as well as the boys but only after trying to skate like the boys do they realise that in order to win they need to skate like the girls they are. The film introduces two new characters (well they were new at the time the film was released); Rochelle Goyle and Robecca Steam. Another brilliant film from Monster High which teaches many lessons including believing in yourself.

Why Do Ghouls Fall in Love has an approximate run time of 44minutes and the film is about Draculaura's sweet 1600 birthday. In the run up to her birthday Clawd (Draculaura's boyfriend) try's many presents to show her how much he loves her but they are all met with disapproval by Clawdeen and her Ghoulfriends and all end up upsetting Draculaura.

This film is set before "ghouls rule" but released to DVD after it. My soon to be 6 year old adores these films, and i tend to agree, nice computer animation, a good variety of characters and good stories. They may be monsters but i think they make pretty good role models for girls, as they teach about friendship, loyalty and how to work things out together. Their motto is Be yourself, Be unique, Be a monster!

I bought this DVD as a treat for my daughter for doing well at school. Both her and her younger sister love it (and so do I!). Great value for money as you actually get two films.

Great value Monster High DVD set. My daughter re-watches the skating one a lot (Friday Night Frights) as she loves one of the characters in it that doesn't appear often in MH films, or so I am told - Robecca Steam.

There was no chance of this being less than 5 stars for my Monster High fanatic! Such great value for money as there are two cartoons on this and they have been watched multiple times over. I was surprised to find the cartoons usually have a moral theme about friendship too.

6 year old daughter loves this and was delighted when it turned up. In my opinion my daughter is a wee bit young for the 'dating' and "boyfriends and girlfriends" stuff but its all harmless enough. I'd certainly rather her watch these quirky and rather cool characters than the insipid Barbie ones and their ilk. I notice the characters have various accents (Australian etc). I wish there was an English one! Oh and Ghoulia is my fave....
