Another great issue of monster movie reviews and features from Tim Paxton and crew. Highly recommended for fans of retro monster magazines and fanzines like Castle of Frankenstein and The Monster Times. Do yourselves a favour and grab a copy today - good value for money!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best issue yet? 25 Jun. 2014
By Dan Snoke - Published on Amazon.com
Another great issue covering movies about...Monsters! A little more coverage of Godzilla then I would have liked (I'm a little Godzillaed out right now), but there are still lots of great things in this little fanzine. Especially interesting is a long letter from the son of Jeanne Carmen, the female lead in the great THE MONSTER OF PIEDRAS BLANCAS which was covered in MONSTER! #2. Tim Paxton's Hamburger Movies column is also very stimulating this issue. Great stuff!

Tim Paxton and his merry band of writers alway turn out issues chock-full of movies that you never heard of before and you always learn something new. I would recommend that everyone purchase this zine, WENG'S CHOP and MONSTER INTERNATIONAL to support the excellent resurgence of the print genre zines. These are three of the best and my favorites.

5.0 out of 5 stars The HORROR!!! The HORROR!!!!!! Just keeps getting better! 27 Feb. 2015

The films come from all over the world,,,and beyond! This magazine is the surprise find of the year! This collection of articles on the obscure and often neglected monster movies of the 50s and 60s is a delight! No adds or clutter. No Hollywood hype. Just a steady stream of revelations about nearly forgotten horror and sci fi movies from the big productions to the obscure. Written by the people who were there each issue is a winow into a time when people, not mega- corporations, made movies. A perfect read for a cold winter's night!
And more than that, a perfect guide to help one find some of these neglected nightmares. Dive in! I dare you!

A great magazine for people who grew up "Monster Kids". Very reminiscent of Famous Monsters, but with a more serious overtone. A well done, digest sized magazine that covers monster films (they have to have a monster in them) that covers films I've heard of and never heard of. Great buy!
