The classic and timeless design makes these really worth the price, and they only look better as they age, taking on a lovely worn and worldly look.
I bought a 12 month diary this year. Simply because I couldn't find one that lasts for 18 months starting now, january 2012.
This one has a thin practical address book, and a pocket to slot it in. I transferred a thin practical plain notebook from my last Moleskine diary and also slotted it into the same pocket. The elastic band keeps it all together and safe.
The size of the diary is perfect, big enough to take notes of all engagements for each day (maybe not always enough space for Sundays), small enough to fit in the smallest hand bag.
Would thoroughly recommend it to anyone wanting to get/keep organized without being showy or loud.
It's nice, and it's functional, but without the same sense of loveliness or quality that the 3-pack of brown Moleskine notebooks has.
Not too heavy, not to big, fits in your handbag beautifully.
Just enough space to write what you need to.
Reusable address book in the back so you can use that as a repository for info you need every year, not just phone numbers and addresses, but account numbers and all those essential bits of info that would otherwise be lost.
And it just feels good in your hands and works as an object.
Just about to order my next one - but in pink this time (easier to find in my handbag)!
