Although these batteries are great and still working fine after about a year, they are very heavy. I wanted to used them on an ebike but turned out that only batteries weighted as much as all the other components of the bike. They are very cheap for the performance so 5 starts but I would go with a lipo battery anytime over these (if you can afford them obviously, otherwise these will do the job just fine) I raccomend getting a smart charger as it will make the batteries last much longer and you can monitors your batteries charging phase and voltages ecc... Leave a "helpful" please :-)

I ordered 3 of those & they arrived very quickly & soon indicated fully charged. Although they get me around ok they didnt seem to perform as well as i expected. So i load tested them at 4A & timed them down to 11.5v. That took just 75 minutes, far too short. My other batteries that i have been using for about 2 years took 128 minutes to get down to 11.5v using the same load test. I think they are well below capacity. About half what they should be.

Bought these batteries after the second set of shop bought ones (at £90+ a pop) died. To be fair the mobility scooter isnt used regularly, but even so id have thought they would last longer than a few months. They arrived the next day, fully charged and work brilliantly. Havent tested them on a run about town yet but being genuine Lucas batteries am not expecting trouble. And not to mention they are a fraction of the price! I will certainly buy these again.

9 months battery lifespan if you are lucky

Poor quality imports sold my numerous importers from China. If lucky last around 6 to 9 months for use in a mobility scooter used daily. I have bought these twice before and they have failed within 2 weeks - can't seem to find anything better online - will look locally where I can easily return batteries if they fail. Replaced battery charger 3 times in five years if anyone is wondering if that is the issue.

Whilst I'm not yet convinced that this battery lasts quite as long on a charge as the previous one, (used on a B&D battery rotary mower), it was a lot cheaper! It's excellent value for money and the carriage was very reasonable too, especially as it was the same for two batteries as for one, (I got one for my neighbour at the same time).
