Used in a unlocked Huawei mobile broadband unit, I have been delighted with the speed and connectivity of this sim. I did register it so cannot say how it would perform if you just used it without registering.
In both the UK and other parts of the EU, it never failed to connect me to the Internet and was pretty fast too.
I would recommend and will be buying again myself - as long as they keep it at a sensible price!!!!!

The card arrived well before stated arrival date from Amazon.
I placed it into my ZTE MF60 WiFi hotspot unit and it worked.
I have come back to add to my review about four weeks later after writing the above.
I have now used up two SIM cards and just about to order a third. I must say I expected the first card to last 3-months - the first card lasted ONE week. Now, I did download about 20 songs from youtube and my desktop (which utilises WiFi from the SIM) downloaded about 20 microsoft upgrades. So I thought, "fair enough" - a lot of downloading has been done therefore the SIM data bank will be used up.
I bought another SIM card from Amazon - again with reasonable delivery service.
This time I only downloaded one song and controled microsoft updates. I did however use my desktop a lot, checking out emails and surfing the net via google for various projects. This time the SIM lasted TWO weeks.
I have ordered another SIM card because the mobile hotspot unit really works well but because of the high usage of SIM cards I have also ordered an unlimitted broadband service via my landline - the MONTHLY fee for this is much less than the WEEKLY cost of using the SIM.
I am going to use the mobile hotspot for work away from my office base only, from now on.
Perhaps one should think twice if one is thinking of using the SIM based WiFi as a permanent source of net access.
If you do, prepare yourself for fairly hefty SIM card bills - possibly.

This was an excellent way of accessing online on the move but I bought this earlier in 2013 for less that £12. I use it in a Vodafone MiFi and get good quality signals and fast speeds obviously where there is coverage. Compared to Vodafone it is far better.
The reason I marked down is the price is going through the roof and where i once bought several i will give it a miss. Data charges are not going up so I can't explain the massive 100% increase. For some it may be a good deal but knowing what I was paying 9 months ago it no longer represents value for money

Good Broadband USB SIM, worked directly from the packet.
( My 3 stick bought last year has app software pre-loaded to enable immediate connection to the THREE website, you can access the internet from their webpage, or run your own browser, eg Chrome, IE8 or firefox, etc ). This replacement SIM recommended, would buy again.
Tip, if starting with a new laptop watch that you don't try to download too much, I had a ' free trial period ' of the new Microsoft 365 Office and thought wrongly that it was pre-loaded on the PC, but found it was actually a free download of almost 1Gbyte, so I trashed one third of my allowance in 10 minutes ! ... silly me. ( this is nothing to do with the THREE SIM of course, but just be careful ! ).

We have used quite a few of these, and they are very good for casual use in an iPad. We managed for weeks on these as our only internet connection whilst a certain telecom company failed miserably to get our phone line working. We normally buy a couple of these for our holidays. Worked well in Australia too.
In iPads, they are literally just "install and connect".

This was our first attempt at a 3G connection using our shiny new Toshiba AC100-10U Tegra smartbook (Android 2.2), so we were feeling some trepidation as the SIM was inserted.*
No worries, it just went online when we followed the very clear instructions. The '3' website showed our 1GB credit once we had logged on to it.
Sitting in a car park waiting for my wife is now a relaxing experience, and not as expensive as some deals. Playing with the bundled application 'Fring' (like Skype for Android) it makes calls all around the world for similar connection costs.
Recommended!

* PS Our AC100 has a label near the SIM slot (behind the battery) that shows the WRONG way to insert it - the almost invisible moulded-in image on the case shows the correct way. <sigh>

After moving I had no internet for months, and ended up getting a Huawei mobile broadband pod from 3. Because everything I own wanted a software update by then, I rattled through my monthly allowance in no time. Bought one of these SIM cards to tide me over to the next month, and it was ideal.
All I had to do was stick this SIM in my device and it worked right away. When I visited the device interface in my web browser, and navigated to My3, the site automatically recognised which SIM I was using and showed me the correct balance. All easy and seamless!
Not the best value data when you're on a monthly contract, but for me it was a perfect way to bridge the gap between allowances when I ran out. And it sure beats the laughable "top-up" prices that My3 offers!

Having had several of these preloaded cards over the past couple of years which I use when travelling (often to the same location) I have had no problems with them and they have worked great wherever.
However this particular card proved very difficult to even register online with 'Three' and it then worked intermittently at a location where they have always previously worked fine. This was a big problem as I needed the internet connection for work use.....a very disappointing and inconvenient experience. Perhaps this card was one of a faulty batch but if this is now the norm for this manufacturer's preloaded sim card then I could no longer recommend them to others.
