5.0 out of 5 stars Teach your pre-schooler to read 10 Dec. 2015
By Jerrod - Published on Amazon.com

As a child my mom read to me often as she could, and would point to each word while saying it aloud.

When I was around 3 or 4 years old, she worked late on an evening that I wanted to read. Following her previous examples, I pointed to the word and said the what she had before. That was the night I learned how to read.

Took me 30+ years to figure out which book that was ("the book about the teacher who's abducted by butterflies,") Miss Nelson Is Missing.

I'm truly excited to read it to my son in the coming years.

A must have for every parent.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great stories - excellent baby shower gift 20 Jun. 2014

This book contains the three Miss Nelson stories. I remember them so well from my childhood. Whenever my dad would take me & my siblings to the library, we would race to find these books.

I recently gave it to a friend at her baby shower, along with some other classics, and the gift was a big hit.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great blast from the past 19 Oct. 2015

I loved this series growing up so it was only natural that I get them for my 4 year old. Turns out my 12 yr old loves these stories more than me. So there was this argument over who would read them to the 4 yr old. Lol! So we've been taking turns reading and listening to these stories. I will say that Viola Swamp is my favorite character.

5.0 out of 5 stars Miss Swamp obsessed 3 year old in tthis house! 24 Aug. 2015
By Ladylike - Published on Amazon.com

Ever since this book was read in daycare to my daughter, she has been obsessed with Miss Viola Swamp! Nice hardcover on the book. I have to say that my daughter truly only has me read the first story to her, "Miss Nelson is Missing." But the price was right especially for having 3 books in one.
5.0 out of 5 stars My 5 year old twins (and 2 year old son) love reading "Miss Nelson" at bedtime 25 April 2016
By Steph Almasy - Published on Amazon.com

Viola Swamp is just as I remembered from elementary school. Every year our librarian would dress up as Coach Swamp, and I was thrilled to be able to share these stories with my own children. So excited to have all three books in one spine. My 5 year old twins (and 2 year old son) love reading "Miss Nelson" at bedtime.
